Had technician Frank to stop by to fix my dryer that was not heating. He came with everything he needed to fix what ever was the issue. He managed tear it apart and fix the heater inside (showed my wife the broken element.) He left the place clean and tidy. Could not have asked for better. Thanks guys.
Wanted to give a shout out to Get A Pro Appliance Repair and Eli the tech who came to troubleshoot our dryer. Had a dryer that runs ok but producing no heat. The tech talked me into replacing the heating element against buying a new one as he claimed those old dryers were much better built and would run for years with a new heating element put in. I trusted his word. What a HUGE mistake!
The dryer stopped heating again only 6 months after the repair. Guess what, everything runs smoothly but just no heat. The new replacement heating element is gone, only after SIX months! Mind you, I spent $500+ to get it repaired only to extend the useable life by 6 months. I would've been much better off by buying a new crappy dryer from Costco and have guaranteed life for at least two years. Any time beyond that is my gain compared to the short-lived repair this company did for me.
I contacted the company after the failure and was basically told I was SOL and go pound sand. No offer to help, or any partial refund. He is now completely ignoring my messages. With the high fees on parts and labor this company charges, it makes no sense to repair your appliance with no guarantee on reasonable useable life. Save your money and just buy a new unit.
I had an issue with my dishwasher brackets breaking off and wasn't quite sure how to repair it. I called Get A Pro and was so happy with the service. The tech came for a diagnostic visit and clearly explained the issue + price of repair. They also deducted the price of the diagnostic from the total. I decided to go ahead with the fix and they ordered the needed part. A few weeks later, they came back and fixed it to better-than-before. The tech was professional, friendly, detailed-oriented, and quick. I was really impressed. If any of my other appliances give me trouble, I know who I'll call.

Had a service tech out to my house today to look at my dryer and was told the part needed would be 380$ his cost plus 250$ labor, but the part was discontinued. Called a local appliance parts store and got the part for 89$. I'll do the labor myself! Paid 100$ cash for the visit. Never again, didn't get any invoice or anything. Needless to say they won't be getting any more of my business.
I made an error booking with two different companies, and only discovered it when Eli from Get a Pro was headed over to take a look at my washer. Even though I didn’t have service completed by Get a Pro, the way Eli handled my mixup was of the highest levels of customer service and I will definitely be calling for my next repair. Eli, thank you and my apologies once again.
