We hired George APAP Painting with high hopes based on their initial promises, but our experience has been extremely disappointing. From the beginning, we were assured that the work we wanted could be done in-house. Instead, they brought in a subcontracted flooring company that told us they weren’t comfortable doing the job at all—directly contradicting what we were promised.
During the process, they removed the spindles in our foyer and left the entire area exposed—unsafe for anyone, especially considering we have a toddler. There was no urgency to address this hazard, and the team kept going back and forth about which department was responsible, instead of simply fixing the problem.
Although they made a few attempts to “make things right,” the follow-through was minimal at best. Communication also became a serious issue: we never met the project coordinator assigned to us, and the estimator who initially worked with us completely ghosted us.
Another frustrating part: while we were waiting for the shutters to arrive, there was constant urgency from their side to schedule work so their payment could be released. But once payment was released and the shutters finally arrived, that urgency completely disappeared. They showed no motivation to return and complete the final part of the project—one that has now dragged on for over three months.
Overall, this was not a professional or reliable experience, and I cannot recommend George ASAP Painting based on what we went through.

Based on that meeting and the approvals we received, we were under the impression that all issues had been resolved, and we were surprised to receive this review after several weeks with no further communication from you.
We want to clarify that our estimates are very specific, and we follow them exactly as written to ensure transparency and consistency. When additional work is requested that falls outside the original scope, we are always happy to accommodate it, but it does require an additional cost—as is standard in our industry.
Regarding the shutters, we understand the frustration with the extended delay. However, the shutters were a homeowner-supplied item, and their arrival timeline was not something we had control over. Once they were available, we moved to schedule the remaining work within our project calendar.
We stand behind the work we performed and the efforts we made to address every concern brought to our attention. Our painter, Jose, was wonderful. He was professional, on time, courteous, meticulous and very respectful of our property from the prep work to the actual painting. He keep the rooms clean and removed all materials at the end. Jose worked diligently, but did not rush, resulting in an impressive, beautiful job. Very professional workers. The painting and carpentry work appear of the highest quality. We recently had a crew out to paint several rooms in our home. Most of the walls were in poor condition and in need of repair before painting. An estimator ( Rob) took the time to listen to what we needed. Shortly afterwards, we got the estimate and were assigned a project manager. Everything was upfront, professional and expeditious. Within just a couple of weeks, our paint team led by DJ arrived on the scene and began their work. After a few days DJ’s team members- Frank, Jose and Roberto finished the work to our satisfaction. The walls look beautiful. The men cleaned everything up before departing. We look forward to welcoming George Apap Painting back for future projects.

We recently had George Apap carpentry and painters complete the exterior of our house. The carpenters and painters were extremely helpful and professional. They informed us daily of when they would be coming and what they would be doing each day. After each day they cleaned up and stored their equipment neatly and out of the way. During the painting process the painters were diligent, neat and took precautions to keep themselves safe and the quality of work was outstanding.
Mark the foreman was particularly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. His work ethic should be commended as the crew stayed until 7:00pm on a Friday wanting to complete the work and knowing bad weather was coming the following Monday.
We couldn’t have been more happy with the work and the finished product. If you are considering having your home painted I would highly recommend George Apap.
