New client here. Had my first dental assessment appointment after 7 years. (Nervous patient). I have only great praise for this dental practice. On arrival greeted by pleasant receptionist. Dr Faisal was calming, understanding and explained everything clearly. This is the first time I have ever left a dental surgery feeling relaxed. Highly recommend this surgery. I don’t really write reviews ever but I feel like I have to say something because this situation isn’t right and something needs to be done about it. They cannot do get away with doing this to people in a vulnerable position.
I’m writing this because I genuinely trusted this dentist at first. They helped me during an emergency, and I appreciated that. But that trust is exactly what they took advantage of afterwards. Appointment after appointment, I was quoted extremely high prices and told I needed treatments that didn’t sit right with me.
The way things were explained felt patronising, as if I should just accept whatever they said because they’re the professionals. It wasn’t a conversation, it was a one way instruction, and questioning anything felt discouraged. That kind of attitude made me feel dismissed for even wanting clarity.
Eventually, I went to another top private dentist in London for a second opinion. They confirmed that the treatments I was pushed into were not necessary and that the issues could have been resolved for a much lower cost. That’s when it hit me how much money I had already spent unnecessarily. I felt misled, pressured, and taken advantage of simply because I trusted them.
For a practice charging such premium prices, honesty and transparency should be the bare minimum. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. They must have thought I was really stupid because I just paid feeling pressured. Their website states completely different prices.
Looking back, it feels as though they assumed I wouldn’t question anything almost like they thought I was stupid for trusting them and the more I paid, the more they kept pushing. I felt rinsed for money again and again, and that left me feeling violated, taken advantage of, emotionally and financially abused by the whole process. Even now, after all this time, I still feel like I’m recovering from the experience, which says everything about how deeply it affected me…… money was their sole focus.
Taking advantage of patients when they’re vulnerable, and instead of supporting them is ethically wrong 😑
I have used my partners account to write this because I don’t trust them and they have my address and details ! Before they reply with we don’t have your name on our database / as a patient !
