This company is AMAZING! If you need a trustworthy moving company I would not hesitate to reach out to GMC. I used General Moving Carriers for my 2nd move. The first time I used them was about 2 years ago in 2023 for my move within New Jersey and I had a great experience from beginning to end. For my NJ move again this year from a 2nd floor apartment to a 2 floor home unit in 2025 I shopped around but ultimately I knew I wanted to go with GMC. They are thorough, VERY kind, accommodating, transparent, and reliable. They have a text communication chat that allows for seamless interactions and are available whenever you have questions no matter what. For the day of my move, the moving team was Roy, Shay, David, and Ricky and they were very professional, communicated well, respectful of my space and belongings handling everything with care. They asked questions before they touched or moved things they weren’t sure about and made sure they communicated with each other as a team as well. Asked if they could accommodate an earlier time as had a family event to go to that same evening and wanted to make sure we were finished in time and we were well ahead of schedule. They worked fast and efficiently. I had everything packed and ready for them for the most part. They provided boxes and wardrobes in my order for other things that needed to be in boxes to be moved per their insurance protocol. I didn’t have to lift a finger once they arrived from start to finish. If you are looking to move within NJ I recommended them 100%. This was top tier customer service. I can’t thank them enough for making my move stress free.

Efficient, friendly, reliable movers. We’ve used them two times and had them store furniture for months on end. When delivery was made, nothing was broken, missing or lost. Nothing was too much for our mover to do to help us find things and move them around the home. both moves done by general movers Have been excellent. They move families not just furniture.

We moved from New Jersey to Colorado and used General Moving Carriers. We worked with them before and they did a great job. Nothing was lost and nothing was damaged. They came to our townhouse a day before the move and efficiently packed everything. On moving day, they protected everything and removed it from the house, making sure not to damage the house in anyway. They have climate controlled storage. when we found our house in Colorado, They brought all of our items out of the warehouse in New Jersey to us. They did a phenomenal job unpacking. They set up everything they had taken apart and they put everything in the spots we wanted. Once again, nothing was damaged and nothing was lost. I highly recommend this company for Moving.
