This was my first experience with a Gold-backed ***. I was somewhat hesitant at first but ****** **** and ******* ******* soothed my concerns and explained everything that I wanted to know and then some. ****** helped guide me during the set-up process as I transferred funds from another *** to ***. I am grateful for their guidance and patience.
My previous review may have been a bit harsh. It's easy to have a knee-jerk reaction when so much of your savings is at stake. There was a lot of confusion and misunderstanding at first. ****** provided excellent customer service and clarified some issues which had me very on-edge. My conversation with her put me at ease. My only suggestion is that this level of explanation be provided up-front, as most of us are fairly uneducated in the value assessment of a precious metals **** Some great customer service goes a long way. ******, you've earned this 5 star upgrade. God bless the employees affected by the horrible fires out there.
I started an account with ********************** over a year and a half ago. I have been very happy with the people I deal with, and they always answer my questions. I decided to pay off a small car loan and wanted to exercise the system anyway to see the whole process of converting to cash. I asked them to help me calculate the quantity of coins I would need based on the buy back process. I received the coins from the depository, then sent them to Genesis for conversion. I was very happy to see the whole process work as promised. One of the reviewers said that the markup was not acceptable, but I got the markup back and then some. When you look at your depository statement listing metals at spot, it can be very unnerving to see a lower number than you expect, but the process worked true to what they had explained, and I made out well in the conversion. Silver and gold are up from where I started, but the conversion was still good on top of that. My only issue is that every once in a while in the process, it came to a stop and I had to call to make sure some of the folks kept the process moving. Important to have a single advocate to turn to help keep it moving, and mine helped any time I needed it. Other than that, they are awesome to work with, and I am comfortable with how they operate. I highly recommend!
Over priced gold and sweet talk.They never discussed the price of their gold prior to the close of the sale. Don't t get stuck, this a problem with the entire industry . Not all gold brokers are bad, just most. Fear drives the decision to go to gold but don't go running blind. 10% is an acceptable markup. As a regretful customer my advice is stay away.
