General movers were friendly, timely, communicative, and did an excellent job moving some heavy and unwieldy pieces of furniture through the narrow corridors of my home. Nothing damaged and I was very happy with the care shown to my home and items.

We were very impressed with General Movers! Their three man crew worked to move us out of our 1500sq/ft house and into our new home for close to 7 hours. Their crew was efficient, made sure to ask questions and bring to our attention anything they thought could be a hazard in transit. Their service was more affordable than we expected and not a single thing was damaged in the move. General Movers came highly recommend and if were to move again this is the group I'd hire, no question.

General Movers came recommended by my family and I hope to pay forward the great suggestion! Kyle on the phone was very helpful and patient with our lack of clarity at first. When we finally settled on a day, Carl and Austin were very efficient and kept our stuff safe! It was clear they treated our possessions as they would their own. Rates were explained upfront and the only surprise was how much stuff we actually had hidden in our old place. General Movers will be the team we pick to move my Mother soon as well!

They moved our stuff back in March and it was the worst experience ever. They cracked one of our kitchen chairs, broke the wheel on my daughter’s high chairs. Which honestly I get stuff happens. But what we didn’t expect was they swapped trucks half way through, transferred our belongings onto a different truck and we are just now discovering whole boxes are missing. Save yourself the trouble and find someone else if you want to keep all of your stuff.

Honestly couldn't have done it without these guys. Austin, Carl and Zay were super professional, moved quick and gave us nothing but compliments. Plus we shared some common interests which made the whole interaction that much better. 10/10 would use them again. We went from Grosse Pointe -> Grand Rapids. Absolutely amazing moving experience.
