The agents at Gaura Travels are extremely pushy and pressure customers to book tickets. If any mistake occurs, they do not support you—their only concern is getting paid. I booked a ticket from Adelaide to Hong Kong and then from Hong Kong to Delhi, with what I was told would be a one-hour layover on 21/01/2026. Later, it turned out to be a 24-hour layover in Hong Kong. When I raised a complaint, no resolution was provided. Instead, they blamed me and said it was not the agent’s fault because they “cannot see the screen.” If they cannot see the booking details, then what is the purpose of having agents at all? $5 #scammers , doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Worst travel agent experience ever. Their only concern seems to be squeezing $5 out of customers. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional, whether speaking to a representative or a supervisor. I called to finalise a ticket and clearly requested to pay the full amount via credit card. I was pressured into paying a $5 “hold” fee, being told that tickets were selling fast and only two seats were left. They also promised that this $5 would be refunded. Once the $5 was paid, they suddenly claimed that credit card payment was not allowed and insisted that the remaining amount must be paid via a BSB bank transfer. I refused, as I receive additional benefits when purchasing air tickets with a credit card. They then said they could create a new booking that would cost $250 more if I wanted to pay by card. This entire situation unfolded within one hour, and I felt completely misled and cheated. The promised $5 refund never came through. This appears to be a deliberate scam operating under the name of a travel agency, exploiting customers with small charges and using outsourced call centres. I strongly advise others to stay away. #gauratravel = #fraudtravel #scammers

These guys even know how to work! I asked to simply send me quotes via email. Didn’t make it even single time but rushed with phone calls every-time same story what email! They just want your money no service at all they dont care about you’re working hours does not care about your convenience they just need your money!

Pathetic service, don't inform you its a group booking and give you false information. My 5 year old was allocated a seat on his own and separated from his guardians and Gaura Travel couldn't care less. Wouldn't recommend anyone to book with them.

Worst service ever today booked tickets cancelled and when I spoke to the agent they have no idea. It's better to book tickets straight from the direct or other website.. Not recommended after being a loyal customer for years..

Ticket cancellation Pathetic service , no professional assistance . I lost my ticket and staff did not even bother trying to assist me . They are a full on scam charging heaps of money to harass people . I paid in full amount and my ticket was confirmed I called in to confirm my meal and then only get to know that my ticket got cancelled. Upon asking why I was not advised told by their staff Neha that it’s not their responsibility and now either I can fill in a complaint form to take a refund how helpful . Will never recommend them to anyone and never use your service again .

One of your staff members, Murli, initially guided me incorrectly and advised me to adjust my entire $5 balance toward a payment, which turned out to be misleading. After I made the full payment, no one informed me that my booking had been cancelled. I only found out by chance when I called and spoke to another staff member, Neha, who behaved very arrogantly and showed absolutely no remorse or concern for the inconvenience caused. Because of their mistake, I was forced to bear the cost of a ticket price difference, despite it not being my fault at all. The only options given to me were to take a refund or book another ticket—neither addressed the stress, inconvenience, or financial loss I had already suffered. This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend this service to anyone due to the lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care.

Never dealing with Gaura travels again and highly avoid. A bunch of opportunistic thie**s. I paid for the full family return tickets and had to change the dates immediately. The tickets weren't issued at the time. I called Gaura travels and was talking about this issue, the staff person attending put me on hold without even listening, then after a while he gets back to me and said that the ticket is issued and I will have to pay huge penalty charges for date changes for both ways which is more than 50% of the total ticket charges on top. Such high charges for a travel date 2 months away. Complaints page leads back to ticket booking page no matter how many times you try to write a complaint. The customer service guy asks to do a complaint online but doesn't take any complaints any other way. Total scam. Extremely disappointed with Gaura travels after they treat longtime customers like this and rip off money. I have decided to get a refund and pay extra to an honest booking agency than deal with these people ever again. Totally bad experience.

We are trying to connect with them for refund for 4 tickets which came as payment failed but money was debited from our account. Commonwealth bank said they can’t dispute that payment. Customer care people saying they don’t have access to connect refunds team. Sent email many times to refunds team still waiting for the response from past two weeks

Disappointing experience My first experience with Gaura Travel has been extremely disappointing. Their customer service was unprofessional, misleading, and marked by constant miscommunication. When my daughter suffered severe skin allergies and food poisoning on the airline they recommended, I requested a ticket change. Instead of offering any support, they told me I must pay extra. After contacting the airline directly, I learned that Gora Travel hadn’t even paid for my ticket, and a refund or change should have been easily possible—especially with more than a month’s notice. This raises serious concerns about their transparency and practices. This has been an exhausting and unacceptable experience. I will be proceeding with legal advice, and I strongly do not recommend Gaura Travel to anyone.

My partner had a really terrible service from them, firstly he didn’t received the e-ticket like 2 days ago of the departure, then his flight was cancelled and gaura travellers never informed us about it, eventually my partner missed his flight, they did nothing to help us, we even called and notified them that what happened to us. Lastly we had to go service desk at the airport and they have us different flight which was 6 hours of extra wait. Such a terrible experience, never booking with again😤

Poor ,Ridiculous service.Unprofessional staff both customer service and complaint department. Nikita agent poor service. They gave wrong information about flight stays where our 60 old mum needs to end up staying 16 hours stay. Staff did mistake in providing wrong information ,on the top of it they didn't accept the mistake. Rubbish complaint staff tries to cover their own staff by telling us to check.. Never recommended them at all to anyone. Stupid travel agents with untrained staff. There is no benefit to talk to complaint staff too.

I had a very bad experience with Gaura Travel. My father had to cancel his trip due to serious medical issues, and instead of helping us, the company made the process slow and complicated. Customer service was unresponsive, and getting any clear information was almost impossible. For a company dealing with families and international travel, this level of service is unacceptable. I would not book with them again. “I wish I checked the reviews earlier. Just like many others, I faced problems with cancellations and refunds.
