Gateway auto glass was a life saver! They went above and beyond to replace my broken car window. My car had a very difficult glass replacement because the genuine glass from the manufacturer was not available anywhere. Even the dealer couldn’t find it but gateway was able to find it somehow through a far away dealer who shipped it to us. They also came to my home and replaced it and did a great job! If it wasn’t for them, I might not have had my car for 6 months which is what my car dealership was quoting for how long it would take to get replacement glass. Highly recommend.

Really disappointed in the quality of the work. It was a small windshield chip which had just begun to show a couple thin star lines. The whole thing was smaller than a quarter. The price was high but I was willing to pay for them to fix it the same day and prevent the crack from spreading further. The repair looks worse than the original crack. There's a thick line of glue / resin along the length of the original crack. It's highly visible and distracting. I've had multiple windshield cracks repaired before and never had one look as bad as this. Also the invoice from the technician named a different company than Gateway, even though Gateway identified themselves by name on the phone, so who knows who will actually repair your window?

We also want to clarify that while our goal is to stabilize the glass and prevent further spreading, chip and crack repairs are structural procedures rather than cosmetic ones. Even with the most skilled technicians, resin does not always react the same way to every break, and a blemish is often visible after the repair is completed. We strive to be transparent that repairs do not make the damage disappear entirely, though we certainly regret that the final look has proven distracting for you.
We stand behind our work. If the chip or crack begins to spread, we would be more than happy to credit the full amount you paid for this repair toward a complete windshield replacement.
