We had Chris come past to look at our garage door and he was very helpful unfortunately had no power so nothing could be done but still didn’t charge us to have a look

I had a very disappointing experience with Garage Door Pros and would not recommend this company.
I initially called them because I was having an issue with my garage door. Their technician came out, diagnosed the problem, and told me that the motor needed to be replaced. During the motor replacement, he also replaced the J-arm.
A few weeks later, the stile connecting the J-arm to the garage door panel became bent, and as a result, the garage door would no longer open fully. The same technician came back to inspect the problem and told me that the issue was because the garage door panel was old.
What is extremely frustrating is that there was no damage or bending to the panel/stile before their technician replaced the motor and J-arm. The problem appeared only a few weeks after their work was carried out. I expected the company to properly investigate what happened and take responsibility for their workmanship, rather than simply blaming the age of the panel.
I also tried contacting the manager or owner to discuss the situation, but my calls were not returned. That lack of communication made an already frustrating experience even worse.
Based on my experience, I am very unhappy with both the quality of the work and the company's customer service. When something goes wrong shortly after a repair or replacement, I believe a reputable company should stand behind its work and make a genuine effort to resolve the issue.
Very disappointing experience. I would think twice before hiring this company.
