I recently had a photo brochure of my husband's woodwork printed for his funeral. My computer skills are limited and the folks at Gandy were able to tweak the document so that colors remained vibrant and the folds was in the right place. Joy was especially kind and helpful. The price seemed reasonable and finished product delivered within 24 hours. Highly recommend!

We sent Gandy Printers a PDF of our project and Gandy's proof had content on the cover page which was not in our PDF document. Other printers worked from the same PDF and got it right!

Hello Pearlena, I reviewed your project with us and no one here has any knowledge of there being an issue with the final product. According to our records you ordered two draft copies of a book. We emailed a proof for approval, which you initially refused to approve. After explaining that we had to have a proof approval to move forward with printing the two copies, you then said it was approved. After approval we printed and shipped the two copies as instructed. We were never notified of any issues.

I have gone back and reviewed the proof you approved and a copy of the final product and I cannot see any discrepancies between the two. I do see that we had to add bleed image to your artwork because it was not set up correctly for commercial printing, and it looks like during that process there was some shifting of the image in the center of the cover. This was reflected in the proof you approved.

I'm sorry this happened, but you have to understand that the proof is our contract with you guaranteeing that what we print will be an exact replication of the proof that you approve, and it is your guarantee to us that what you approve is exactly what you expect from us.

After reviewing all of this I'm not really sure what we did to earn a one star review. If we had completely failed to produce your books, gave you poor customer service, or in some other way did not make a good faith effort to complete your project correctly and on time, then maybe I would understand the rating you gave us. However this was not the case and therefore I feel this review to be somewhat unfair.

We were recommended by friend to check if they could design and print boxes for our goat milk soap business. We had been using a printer in Maine, but they has been bought out by a large company and were not pleasant to deal with. After emailing for several weeks and sending digital files, we were finally able to meet Joy and show her our current packages. We had great conversation, she really took a weight off our shoulders and walked us through the design and printing process, even giving us a tour of the print shop. We will be doing a lot of business with this company.
