I have been using my Gammill consistently for 24 years. My Gammill Classic was serviced for maintenance for the first time in 24 years. Great quality machine! Apparently the professional seller and installer of this machine (24 years ago)installed parts wrong and taught me how to thread it wrong. Was pleased with services tech and the information he imparted. Well worth the $$$ spent to get machine serviced.

The technicians were outstanding and came up with 5 different factors but after 5 hours my machine is stitching the best it has since it was new. They knew the machine despite its 20 year age and were efficient at diagnosing issues and fixing. Would very highly recommend this service!

The day didn’t go as planned which was a huge oversight on Gammill’s part. In all the correspondence about my machine relocation I was never told I needed to move the machine myself. I handled that situation by renting a U-Haul while Todd tore down my machine. He did such an amazing job getting the pieces down our stairs and into the van. We made it to the next location and we got the U-Haul unloaded into my apartment. Todd arrived the next morning at 8am to begin the rebuild. It was a work of art and skill to watch Todd rebuild my machine. He proactively fixed things that needed fixing, adjusted things that needed adjusting. There were many things that haven’t quite been working right even after several tech visits and he fixed them all. It’s like a brand new machine. It stitches better then when I first got it in 2015. Todd is incredibly skilled with these machines and an absolute delight to spend 2 days with. Over the years I just accepted that my machine would never run like it should and there was no one to solve the issues. I’m so thrilled to say that whatever he did he rebuilt a masterpiece. Worth every penny, you must do everything you can to keep him, he’s all you’ve got Gammill, he’s a gem. I just completed my first client quilt since my move and it brings tears to my eyes how perfect it quilts!

Karl Berky did a great job diagnosing the issues with my machine. Then he followed a comprehensive checklist to review different aspects of my machine to optimize its operation. It is now purring like a kitten! The only drawback was how long it took for these repairs to happen.

I recently purchased a Pre-Loved Gammill Classic Plus that had not been used for at least 2 years. Karl came out & got her in great working condition - replacing the encoder, wheels, the handles & a broken spring. He showed me how to correctly thread my machine & set me up for success.

So, I've named her Karla, after Karl.

Don was very thorough with the repairs. When he was unsure, he called headquarters and they were able to walk him through to a conclusion. My only wish is that it didn’t take 4-6 weeks to have a technician come. My wait was 4 weeks.
