Writing this review after an entire year of being apart of this community. Let's start from the beginning. 14 months ago. I googled several gyms in the Chula Vista area, inquiring about a boxing style class for my child. Of the 4 messages sent. Gamebred was the only gym to respond and they simply said, come check us out, let your child try the classes out for a week to see if this is the right fit for you. Well after that first class we were hooked. In this year my child has gained another family and a type of support that I believe can only be achieved in this type of setting. All of the coaches are wonderful. They are patient, well versed in their field and they truly care about helping each child growth physically and mentally. Everyone that works in this gym, including the owner has made us feel, like we belong here. Gamebred stands out amongst the rest, based on their values and gym community.

I've been going to Gamebred the last couple of years, and it's my favorite gym of all the ones I've trained at. All of the coaches have great credentials (BELLATOR/PFL), and the owner/head coach Herman Terrado is also the star pupil of the legendary Baret Yoshida, so you know you're getting your moneys worth from people with lots of experience.
This gym is not only great for those who are looking to compete, but also for those who are brand new to combat sports and want to try something new. It's a very tight knit group, and also kid friendly.

This is the best gym in San Diego hands down. The owner Herman and his team will help you with any aspect of the training process. If your looking for a gym and a home or a team and a family this is the place to go. You can train with the most elite or start from the beginning. It's a great business and super clean facility.
