Alisha was absolutely amazing!! She helped with confidence in me and how to handle my dog. She made each week’s curriculum specialized for our needs and wants when it came to training. She was great with showing hands on training and going over things verbally. I would 100% recommend her for anyone who wants any type of training and behavioral health for any dog! Alisa was so much help with Bear, our Cocker Spaniel. He was a rescue that had been through several homes before came to us. He bonded with me but not my wife. Who he growled at if she came close to Bear and I. Her methods were gentle and kind but very effective. She gave us guidance on other issues with Bear in meeting new people. Bear is doing much better with my wife and others and it is a much more relaxed home now than it was before Alisa. What was so good was she is available as needed between visits with a phone call or email. Even though our trailing visits are done now I know I can still contact her if any questions arise. I still refer to the very helpful notes she sends after each visit. I printed them out and the stay on the end table next to my chair. She is first rate and I recommend her most highly.

Alisha is great at helping you understand your dogs behavior and ways to make training enjoyable for you and your dog. We have a very “spicy “ rescue. He can be fearful and reactive(snappy/biting) to situations. We were at a loss what to do. Now we have the skills to make life with a “spicy” dog more enjoyable. Understanding how to read his body language better and how to handle those situations. She also boards!!! Bonus because with a dog that doesn’t like people boarding can be a challenge. Thanks Alisha!

We worked with Alisha for six sessions. She always arrived promptly at our home. She is very professional and knowledgeable. To a large extent it is the pup’s owners who get the training! Alisha was very patient with us and Sadie, our pup. The behaviors she taught us will be very helpful in our relationship with Sadie. Already we are all less stressed! I liked how she would sometimes correlate how the dog probably feels to how we as humans might feel in a similar situation (for example, being touched by strangers). Alisha was always happy to respond to any questions or concerns we might have. We feel that the money and time we spent on Alisha’s training service was well worth the investment. She even encouraged us to contact her if we had any questions after our sessions have ended.

I had three dogs, brothers from the same litter, one was showing signs of aggression towards the other ones. She was able to help us get them to all be friends again! She also helped us with their basic manners, recall, and tips to help socialize the one with aggression. She was very well informed about dogs and cats! Explained everything in simple easy to understand way! Great prices! Wonderful experience overall.

After several attempts to get our Viszla Benson to the vet for annual vaccinations, we called Alisha for help. It was the best decision we made! With her help, we were able to get Benson vaccinated without a struggle. Although the vet visits were our number one goal, Alisha helped with many other behavioral issues related to Benson’s anxiety. Her experience, knowledge, and love of animals was evident in all of our interactions. Not only did we find a great trainer, but she provides boarding. My husband and I will drive out of the way to take Benson to her for boarding. We know he is in good hands and he is happy to go there. I would highly recommend Alisha!!
