Best lunch experience ever! This was our first time visiting Fritto and we were excited to try based on reviews we’d seen online. There was plenty of seating and some tables free despite being peak time on a Saturday. Loads of choice and the counter was full at 1pm despite just reopening after they had refurbished. We had pizza, sandwiches and fries, the food was ready super quick and the staff were lovely. Honestly 10/10 food, insane quality, so fresh and authentic. We dine out very often and visit a lot of high end and Michelin restaurants and I have to say we were so impressed with Fritto. Would 100% recommend to anyone, and even if we lived in a different city I would absolutely travel for this.
We usually don't leave reviews but we've been meaning to try this place for ages and not had chance due to Christmas and then the renovation so we can say that the anticipation was definitely there.
This small Italian Eatery genuinely feels and smells like you're walking down the street in Tuscany and have stumbled across an amazing cafe. We tried two sandwiches (Italiano and Tuscano), a Tuscany n'duja pork pizza slice and the truffle fries. Everything was utterly excellent. It really tasted like it came from Italy. The ingredients were all so fresh and perfectly balanced. The portion size, quality and value were all top notch for this kind of food. It can get a little cramped in there but that is surely just a tastement to the quality. Very much looking forward to going back and trying more!
Truly galactic
Hi you all this place is an outfit mate and a super-duper one we are eating the passion with which these artists have as a natural gift not even in Italy you get this quality we must be proud and very very lucky to all of this goodness like a friend of mine says It's in a doughhhhhh magic all my love super well done
Absolutely delicious!
Went on a Saturday afternoon around 15:30 and there wasn't much left on the counter.
And after eating what I ordered I can understand why!
Got a margarita pizza, bolognese arancini, a jam and biscoff bomboloni (donut basically).
Everything was great.
Never had an arancini before but it's basically an Italian deep fried filled rice ball and I would definitely get it again.
The pizza was reheated but it was so fresh it was still crispy and delicious, I think they use a focaccia dough for the base, so more like a sicilian style pizza than a typical round New York style, so thick, fluffy and crispy on the edges and base.
The Bomboloni is basically a donut, but a fresh, soft, DEEP filled donut, they were sensational! The jam was my favourite by far, but that's personal preference, the biscoff was still delicious, I'm gutted they had no Nutella ones, but that just gives me an excuse to come again! They also do plain with no fillings, just suger coated if you dont want a filled one.
They have a menu you can order from and wait for which includes fresh pastas too, and daily/monthly specials.
I highly recommend this place.
Worth the trip!
Sorry no photos, I didn't stop eating to take them!
We travel regularly 30+ miles to visit because we absolutely love the food and staff have always been so lovely. We visited yesterday (Sunday 16th) and the girl who served us made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. After every item we ordered she was sighing and rolling her eyes, she totalled the till before we’d finished ordering and because we wanted more, again was sighing at as. We spent £65 and were made to feel like a nuisance. It’s such a shame when we visit so often and have never been treated like this before.

Hi Barbara thanks for your feedback. I’m really disappointed to read this. At Fritto, we don’t only aim to serve the best possible food, but we also take pride delivering a great customer experience, always, despite how busy we are. We always love to treat customers - especially our regulars - like friends, and not just a number. I can only apologise for your experience and I will take your feedback seriously and use this as an example to our front of house staff on how they can improve their service. I’d appreciate it if you could get in touch by email at ciao@fritto.org so we can get a few more details about your visit? Thanks Luca
