Funny, entertaining and knowledgeable Tim was very funny and a great guide. We really enjoyed the extended detour to the chocolate shop. He also knew a lot of history that they don’t teach you in school. We would highly recommend.

Welcome To Philadelphia, Pa and The Maj Hotel I hope you're thinking of visiting, Philadelphia, Pa. Before you arrive make certain to stay at THE MAJ HOTEL. It is 3 star, reasonably priced boutique hotel within walking distance to the Barnes, Rodin, Caldor and Philadelphia Art Museums. THE MAJ HOTEL is exceptionally clean, has breakfast served on the weekends and has an amazing staff who goes above-and-beyond to make you feel welcome to their hotel and their city. The staff creates such a welcoming environment that you feel like you're at home with your friends and family. I reserved, directly, with Sydney, at The Maj Hotel. You will feel her warmth and friendliness right away. She and her manager, Josephine, welcomed us as soon as we arrived. Many of the other Philadelphia hotels charge an outrageous amount of money to park, each night. Even though this hotel doesn't provide parking, this exceptional staff will work with you to tell you where you can park, within walking distance, to their hotel, at a reasonable parking rate. They also will help you with ways to save money on the Philadelphia buses .If you are a senior citizen, you can ride the Phlash buses for free until 6 PM, just show the bus driver proof of your age. If you take the Septa buses, you can pay by credit card $2.90 per/person, one way. You won't be sorry that you booked with The Maj. I know that you you'll enjoy the experience just as much as my wife and I did. Noel M.

Best tour in Philly! Tim McAleer was an excellent tour guide. He was very well spoken and our family enjoyed his jokes. Tim has some awesome connections within the city and even introduced us to Sue who lives within one of the original homes in Elfreth's Alley. Sue was kind enough to show us the first level of her home which was built in early 1700s and kept pretty original. Next door was Elfreth's Alley Museum which Sue recommended visiting. Both homes were very cool to see. Thanks for letting us see your home and the history behind it, Sue! Overall the tour was awesome! Lot of cool facts, fun locations, and local history. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Thanks for everything Tim!

The must do in Philly Don’t think you can walk around or take -you know the bus- to get the info and up close that this walking tour provided. Our guide was very informative, knew his history and gave some great insight. We covered all the must see places. Don’t miss this one. If it’s the one thing you do, do this.
