I called this company asking for a free mold inspection because I have visible mold growing up the walls in my apartment. I made it clear I wasn’t looking for them to do any work, just an inspection so I could understand what I’m dealing with.
On the phone, I was told they would not do a free inspection because it was an apartment complex and that it would be a conflict of interest since the owner’s wife owns the property. The person on the phone basically said he wasn’t going to “speak against” his wife’s property.
That was really disappointing. You would think that if it is his wife’s property and there is mold growing on a tenant’s walls, he would want to help get it fixed, not refuse to even look at it. Instead, I was left feeling like my health and safety came second to protecting the property owner.
I’m sharing this so other tenants know what to expect. This was my honest experience based on one phone call, which was recorded as part of normal business calls.

Our company does not provide indoor mold inspections or mold remediation inside the living space of a home, which is clearly stated on our website. We only treat mold issues in crawl spaces. The photos posted in this review show interior wall mold, which is not a service we offer and is something the property owner or apartment management must address.
During the call, we explained several times that:
We cannot perform inspections for tenants or third parties who do not own the property.
This is part of our written company policy, which was read to you during the call. Inspections must be requested by the legal property owner.
This apartment is built on a slab foundation, meaning there is no crawl space for us to inspect nor any service we could provide related to the issue you reported.
We are not licensed or equipped to inspect or diagnose interior mold, and providing advice outside our scope would be misleading and unethical.
There was also a misunderstanding regarding ownership. The suggestion that my wife owns or has any connection to this property is incorrect. She has no involvement with the home in question. Our decision not to perform the inspection was solely based on company policy and the limitations of the services we are legally allowed to provide.
We spent a significant amount of time attempting to explain our policies and limitations, and we genuinely attempted to help by clarifying what we could and could not do. Unfortunately, the service requested was not something our company offers, nor something we are legally permitted to provide.
While we understand the frustration of dealing with mold in a rental property, the appropriate next step is to work directly with your landlord or apartment management, as they are the ones responsible for addressing mold inside the home.
We wish you the best in resolving the issue and hope this clarification helps others understand the limits of our services.

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with I had originally scheduled an appointment two weeks out and they called a couple of days before and canceled that appointment and rescheduled for the following week now here we are 45 minutes before that appointment and they’ve called just canceled this one as well keeping in mind that I had to drive two hours to get to the location in order to be here for their appointment that they’re missing now twice and they just said sorry absolutely unacceptable

The individual who posted this review is not the homeowner and therefore was never eligible to receive our inspection services. Our company policy, which is consistently applied, requires that the legal homeowner be present during any inspection. This policy exists for liability reasons, to ensure accurate findings, and to allow the property owner to make informed decisions.
Upon confirming that the individual was not the homeowner, we courteously informed him that we could not proceed with an inspection. This persons response included profanity, he was rude to all our staff, and hung up on us. The homes in question are more than 50 years old, have been vacant for 8 years, and front door in one of the home does not open or close, reviewer also mentioned rim and band boards needs to be replaced because they are rotted out in both homes, significant termite damage, no vapor barrier. All of these are significant repairs in the foundation repair industry and the legal homeowner should want to be present during such an important inspection. We don't always know of the motive of someone other than the property owner requesting an inspection but it is not fruitful for us as a company to provide free inspections to anyone but the legal home owner. At no point did we provide services or complete an appointment for this person and we remain committed to serving legal homeowners with integrity and professionalism who want to fix their homes and restore their peace of mind.

Had Foundation Solution Group put in a drainage system with sump pump in my crawl space. Not only were they able me to fit me in 1 month ahead of schedule, but they sent two teams that knocked out my entire 1500 sqft crawl space drainage system in one day AND cost less than some of the larger companies. They also installed a new crawlspace door that has been working great. Overall 10/10. The foreman was nice and professional, would definitely recommend.
EDIT 04/03/25: Just wanted to provide an update, we have some flash floods where I am at, as well as some major grading work that needs to be done. All around my house is flooded, there is about a quarter inch of water surrounding the crawlspace wall on the front of my house. Previously under these circumstances, my entire crawlspace would be flooded badly. I just went down there and crawled through the entire perimeter of the crawl space and not a single drop of water was above the vapor barrier, and the crawl space was dry! The sump pump FSG put in is so quiet its hard to tell when it kicks on but it has been doing a fantastic job thus far. Overall, I cannot tell you how happy I am that I went with Foundation Solutions Group for my crawlspace drainage system. This has definitely taken a weight off my shoulders.

Fs did a Great job on the foundation of our home it had drop all most 3” they brought it back up everything looks great there employees were very courteous and work hard they didn’t set around they worked Foreman was very knowledgeable done a Great job.
