I’ve been working out at Foundation Fit since September 2023, and this is absolutely the longest I’ve ever stuck with one fitness program. I’ve gotten so much stronger, and so many things in my life have gotten easier as a result. Austin is such a great personal trainer; he’s always upbeat, full of inspiration, and never ever judgmental. The Monday/Wednesday 5:00 crowd has become like a little workout family! I give Foundation Fit my highest recommendation!
I started at Foundation Fit in April 2024 having never really been a gym person before. Talk about a life-changing experience! I’ve been training with Austin three times a week since then and have lost just over 100 pounds. Austin is patient, encouraging, and really knows how to push you and motivate you to get the best results. More importantly, he completely understands the limitations of aging bodies, and how important strength training is, especially for women. His workouts are challenging, but always adjusted to where you’re at. This is really important, because while it's okay to be sore occasionally, it is not ok to be in pain. Austin understands this and never pushes harder than you can handle. The whole vibe of the gym is great — no ego, no judgment, just some really nice, dedicated, and encouraging people cheering each other on. If you're like I was pre-Foundation Fit - terrified of gym culture, and completely embarrassed by my lack of fitness and athletic ability, I can’t recommend Foundation Fit (and Austin!) enough.
I never worked out consistently until I joined Austin’s program. It worked for me because he was non-judgmental, flexible, and super nice. He never made me feel bad or guilty, he was just focused on helping me get stronger. I wanted to build muscle and learn different exercises and how to do them correctly. I highly recommend Austin!
I’m 66 years old without much experience lifting weights. My goal is to get stronger, lose weight and maintain physical independence as I age. Austin has created a pathway for me to achieve these goals, with patience, professionalism, and making me feel totally comfortable in an unfamiliar setting.

I started training with Austin almost a year ago. My goal was to lose weight but also have someone keep me accountable and consistent with my training. In addition, I’ve had some injuries and other mobility issues that he’s helped me work around and improve or adjust training as needed. I’ve had amazing success since training with him and could not be happier.
I worked with Austin at Foundation Fit for six months. It was the best experience for someone like me who was nervous about stepping foot into a gym. Austin built workouts that worked for my experience and my body. I lost weight and gained muscle, confidence, and the knowledge I needed to keep going. Hands down one of the best decisions I've made.
Austin is a fantastic trainer! He works with you to accomplish your goals. He brings a calm and positive atmosphere into every session and overall helps you stay motivated. Highly recommend to anyone who has anxiety about going to a gym or being judged, I was very anxious about both but have always feel comfortable when in session.
I have been working out with Austin for 8 months now and I am so pleased and impressed with him and his approach to training and wellness.
I love going to my class and always leave feeling great. My main goal was to gain strength back during menopause and I now feel so much stronger and toned. Some weight loss but more important gained muscle and feeling so much better.
I go twice a week for an hour, usually there are 2-4 people in the room, nice and not too loud music in the background. Each session is custom made for you and never the same.
I think one big part of Austin's success is the accountability you have as a motivation and also he is so knowledgeable, personable and easygoing.

I absolutely love being a part of this gym! Austin is amazing as a trainer. He is knowledgeable, cares, and makes it possible for you to reach fitness goals you would never have thought you could before. He has not only helped me but my teenage son who has anxiety in public places. It has been his first time ever in a gym of any kind and it has really improved his overall health and he really enjoys his workouts! It is my first time having a trainer and being in my 50s and having little time I wasn’t sure how it would go but I am so glad I contacted Austin. I have seen a huge difference in my strength and muscle tone and I wish I would have had strength training in my life much sooner. It has really made a huge difference! I work out twice a week and experience little soreness as Austin is good at making my workouts safe , comfortable, and the right level of challenge. I can’t wait to see more benefits and positive impacts as time goes on since it has only been 7 months and even my 84 year old father said to me tonight wow you really are getting noticeably muscular. It’s a friendly environment with few people at a time of all body shapes and ages. I highly recommend Austin and Foundation Fit!!
I've had several personal trainers in the past. Austin has created one of the most positive, supportive training programs. He has tailored my regular workouts to meet my specific needs as I recover from surgery.

Foundation Fit is an awesome gym! Austin runs the place very smoothly. It’s calm vibes and without judgement. Accountability is done in a way that is direct, yet still honest and kind. In addition to the overall vibe and environment, the people that work out there are all very friendly and chill, too. It is not “frantic training” (which I thought I was looking for!). This is steady and consistent in a way that’s more about changing habits rather than doing a quick hack or fix. Although I initially felt hesitant towards this approach and philosophy Austin held, I see now how much better this is, considering I have not “yo-yo’d” and have actually felt myself get stronger. It’s a good place to be if you want to get stronger and healthier!
Austin is a great personal trainer always there for you and always happy to help you in any way he can! He’s always very accommodating with if you can’t make a workout to make it up and always down to earth and very caring about your health and your body I would recommend foundation fit to everyone.❤️

Austin is a fantastic personal trainer! He’s genuinely attentive to your goals, works closely with you to achieve them, and always prioritizes safety to prevent injury. He’s also excellent at pushing you to your potential. I love that the training sessions are in a small group setting, usually with 2-4 people, which keeps the experience personalized and efficient – no waiting around for machines.
