Our baby’s cremation We lost our baby early Saturday morning and we called and they were so compassionate and caring. They didn’t rush any questions were available for us to bring our cat in right away. Turn around was quick and the memory pieces we got were top quality. I recommend them to anyone looking to get there fur baby cremated. The professionalism and kindness extended to us was so comforting.

Three stars for the heart this place has and turnaround time. I do have to be honest about some dissatisfactions we had, though. We said goodbye to my soul dog, Curry, a couple weeks ago. He was truly a piece of my heart outside my chest. So it was incredibly important to me to feel he was handled securely and accurately. The euthanasia service we used utilizes Forrest Run for all of the pets they put to sleep. They said I should expect a call from them the next day, and assured me they had the deepest trust in them, which I appreciated. When the call didn't arrive, I called them. It sounded like there was traffic in the background so I assumed the call was answered on a personal phone. The person on the other end seemed a little rushed. She was sympathetic, which I appreciated, and said she would text me as soon as possible after the call with information about memorial options. I waited a day and a half before calling back. I began to worry a bit at this point at the lack of initiated communication from them. When I called back, they informed me Curry had been cremated and was ready for pickup. I wondered, if I hadn't called, how long would it have been before they called me? I expressed wanting to get a nose print necklace of my boy and they said they would handle the photos and send them to the company they use, Thumbies. Again, I was a little nervous, but agreed, and finally got the text with the specifics about Curry's nose necklace order. They were very gracious for pickup as we couldn't make it during their normal business hours. They accommodated us and had someone there on the following Saturday for us. My husband went inside to retrieve the ashes and expressed how kind and interested the woman was in Curry. That meant a lot. Their location is also beautiful to see if you choose to bury your pet there. I ordered the necklace, and when it arrived, it looked nothing like Curry's nose. I reached out to Thumbies with my own reference photos, and Thumbies reviewed the necklace and photos they had on file to compare. They said that it was due to the photos they received from Forrest Run that the print came out appearing more elongated and narrow than my dog's nose. (So, if you intend to order a memorial item like that, I suggest sending your own pictures.) Thankfully, given the situation, they agreed to replace my necklace. Lastly, Curry's ashes arrived in a box that I had no say in, although I was told on the phone I could browse other boxes for an upcharge. I was never given the options for other boxes to choose from or the means to inform them of my choice. Also, the box has a white sticker label on it that does not come off. The label isn't decorative, it's for identification, so it's not something you want stuck on your pet's ashes. I am choosing to trust that it is in fact my Curry's ashes that are in the box due to the trust the euthanasia service we used has in Forrest Run. But my experience with them felt a little chaotic, uncertain, and caused some anxiety about my Curry's postmortem, as well as gave me additional work to sort out with the necklace. I think these people are doing a beautiful thing with good intentions. I sincerely hope my experience was a fluke, but wish I didn't have to be the one to experience it.

I had to say goodbye to my baby much sooner than expected, he was a polydactyl cat and having his paw prints means the world to me. I’m so incredibly happy with how they turned out, Amy took her time and did an amazing job at capturing the uniqueness of each paw. Over all this place is amazing! Friendly, kind, understanding, clean and affordable would highly recommend!

We are so grateful for the incredible compassion shown by Forrest Run Pet Cremation Service & Cemetery. They went above and beyond for our sweet Layla girl who recently passed. They met us on a Saturday and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes, never once making us feel rushed. They treated Layla with such care and dignity, and even allowed her to be cremated with her favorite blanket, pillow, and toy. Every person we interacted with was so kind, understanding, and gentle during such a difficult time. We couldn’t recommend Forrest Run enough if you’re looking for a truly beautiful and comforting place to say goodbye to your furry loved one. ❤️🐾

We had a freak accident w one of our kitty’s. i searched up Cremation Services near me and this place popped up. I called and was able to get an appointment later that evening. The building is clean and quiet. Amy took care of us and our kitty, she was so sweet and kind. gave us space but also had conversations with us. in moments of stress and grief, this place put us at ease. i would recommend this place to anyone who has lost their baby and would like to take their last moments with their pet.

They took such great care of my little chihuahua, Taki, he was about 18 years old. You can tell they really care for the pet and the pet owner. My little one passed and I was frantic trying to find a place to get him in. I called here and I didn't realize it was after business hours already, but they were willing to come back to the facility and take him in within the hour. Truly such a wonderful place. Greatful for how careful, how gentle, and how respectful they treated me and my little one. Thankful for this place.

They made sure I knew the process of what was gonna happen and I got my Zoey back a week early so they are very efficient and work quickly. Amy and Jill were very sweet and comforting. I have had the pleasure to work with the team at Forrest Run on some of the saddest days of my life. As a pet parent foster parent that takes in alot of special needs pets, and someone that will simply scoop up a cat or dog found deceased to check for a microchip and hopes to reunite. Pat, Amy, Derek and all the people that aren't the faces of the company have always been so kind and comforting when I bring a pet in for cremation. They always listen to happy stories if I have them to share. They handle my pets remains with love and softness. I know that their job sees some of the saddest days of a pet owners life. Yet they still open their hearts to you as if you are the only one that has experienced this loss. Than you will never be enough for all that they have done for me over the last 20 years and what they do for our community.

Amy is awesome! A few years back my rattlesnake passed away and wanted to get her creamated, no one would do that, I found Forrest Run and they said they could. The process was pretty fast I got the remains back within a week. Unfortunately recently a lizard of mine passed, and again Amy helped me out with the cremation process! The pricing is fair as well!

This is a beautiful place for your furry loved one once they cross over the rainbow bridge. They took care of our littlest friend with love in their hearts. We brought our sweet little hamster here for cremation and it was a fair price to bring our girl home.

First off I want to say Amy is an ABSOLUTE sweetheart. We ended up losing our precious 14 year old Border Mix at 12:55 at night/in the morning on Nov. 10/Nov. 11th and I called Forrest Run at I want to say at 5 or 6am. Amy answered all my calls from how much a private cremation was going to be, to how much and urn would be (and she gave the amount of the lowest priced one just so I would know about how much I would be looking at) and even answered my questions about the keepsakes (I got the PawPal; which came out amazing!). We met Amy at noon and got everything situated and she even asked if we wanted our dogs blanket back and if we wanted to follow her in and say our last goodbyes (which we did). By Nov. 14 I got the call that we could pick her ashes up and the keepsake; we also got a private cremation certificate as well (which I wasn't expecting and if you don't pick an urn from there you WILL get a tin one (the one we got has paw prints on it). All in all like I said Amy was an absolute sweetheart and I wil definitely be going here again in the NEAR future.

My parents have used Forest Run in the past and I am now for my sweet boy - couldn't love them more. They are super friendly, professional, and truly sincere in their work. Not only do they boast tons of amazing end-of-life pet options (and accessories, like urns or jewelry) but they work amazingly close with end-of-life care providers and vets giving you, the pet parent, a relaxing experience. I cannot say enough amazing things about the service I received from this place. They were so kind and generous, answered my call late Sunday and met me late Sunday night for me to drop my sweet baby off. It was the worst day/week of my life but they put my mind at ease knowing she was in the absolute best hands with people who truly cared. Having Izzy home with me now is a great gift and I cannot thank Forrest run enough for their kindness, compassion, and dedication to providing the best service and care. My heart is happy knowing she was in the best hands, their kindness is absolutely invaluable. I hope I don’t have a need for their services for a long long time, but when the times does come I know who I will go to.
