Ordered online Monday for Friday delivery - was worried that I had not seen or heard from them on day it was scheduled, but extended cold snap overwhelmed all delivery services. Frank reached out to me the next day and I got the delivery on Sunday. Pretty good considering most deliveries are pushed out 10 days now. He also came to the door to explain what happened. Super nice guy. Best prices and this service....I will definitely be using Forno again.

These guys are the best!!👏🏽👏🏽 They went above and beyond to fill our tanks. We were running very low and we have a baby in the house. We called them past 4pm on a Friday night and Frank made sure to come that same night to fill our tanks. Frank and his guys are extremely professional, courteous, reliable and fair. I ordered heating oil delivery on 1/3, credit card charged and delivery date confirmed for 1/7. When I try to confirm their delivery on 1/7, the owner told me they have rescheduled my delivery to 1/8. He said they got delayed yesterday and their truck is not coming to my area today. I told him I have been waiting for the delivery for 4 days and my oil level is running very low since it has been very cold recently, constantly going to low 20F. Nobody even bothered to let me know that they are not coming to today as promised. He told me "Just buy 5 gallon diesel at gas station and pour in your fuel tank."
If I did not make the call in the morning, I may find a cold house in surprise when I get back home in the evening. I was asking him if it is possible at all that their truck can make a stop at my house today. Then he becomes angry and rude. He told me he is "being nice and trying to help me" but I'd better "not push it" otherwise he will cancel my order. I told him this is not right - you charged me and promised me a delivery date - 4 days ago. Now you says you cannot do it as you promised - only become your truck is not coming in this direction today - and you are telling me to appreciate your "help" - of delaying my delivery? The least you can do is to apologize for the delay and ask my understanding - not using cancelling my order as a threat. He is obviously using the fact, that I have been waiting for 4 days for the paid and promised delivery and my oil is running almost empty, as a leverage, since if he cancels my order, I would have to pay extra emergency delivery fee to order from another company now. It is not like there is bad weather or anything like that - make them not possible to deliver. He said very clearly that he decided to delay my delivery because he is not coming to my direction and it is "inconvenient" for him, i.e. it is an economical decision to break their promise and pass the "inconvenience" to me - and he expects me to show "appreciation" for his effort of "trying to help" under the threaten of order cancelling.
I told him either make the delivery today as we scheduled (and I would appreciate his "help" in that case) or cancel my order and refund me. Then he said he will cancel my order and hanged up on me.
This is the true experience with this company today, 1/7/2025. I will not order heating fuel from this company any more.
Great company The best price in oil in Westchester county always on time with deliveries and service team is always working neat and very polite . I highly recommend this company .
I've lived in Montrose for six years and used several companies for oil service. There is nobody more fair, personable and respectful than Paul and Forno Fuel. I wish there was a company like his for all of the home services that I need.

Forno Fuel goes above and beyond. All around honest, dependable and on point. Every time I call he can make it within a few hours or days. Best example of dedication to customer service??? On Dec 23, 2023, I was crazed prepping for holiday dinner and I noticed at about 4pm my tank was on E (not exaggerating). I reached out and he said he would try. At 8:30, I heard the rumbling of a truck. This was a Saturday night. He came because he knew he wouldn't be able to get to me until 3 days later. If that's not enough to convince you, I don't know what is. I would love to keep him my little secret but he's too good. Seriously, if you're shopping around definitely give him a call.
