Our VM high school students in our Manufacturing Program in year 11 and 12 recently visited Formero and had an amazing experience. Craig and Simon were very welcoming and took the time to explain the different 3D printing technologies, materials and real-world applications.
The students were especially fascinated by the custom medical components and seeing how this technology can make a real difference. It was inspiring for us at the Tech School and for the students who are motivated to start their own 3D printing projects back at the Tech School.

We recently reached out to Formero while exploring prototyping and tooling options for a project within our engineering team. They came recommended by colleagues, and based on this experience, I’d be very happy to work with them again in the future!

Daylesford Railway
One of the challenges of restoring vintage trains at Daylesford Railway is sourcing long gone fittings. In the past these were cast or pressed and to do so today is exorbitantly expensive for a volunteer non-profit group.
Formero has been of great assistance in understanding our unique needs, running through the various options, scanning original examples of the items (from doors handles through to light fittings), and then either 3D printing or CNC machining them. Their knowledgeable and friendly staff have enabled our trains to be returned to service with accurate replicas of original fittings at an affordable price.
We have no hesitation in recommending Formero for any project, especially for your more unusual / challenging projects.

Our research laboratory has used Formero for numerous jobs over the last 2 years. Jack and his team are super responsive and helpful, ensuring that they understand the project needs. They keep us up to date on job progress and turn the parts around with excellent efficiency. Formero is a prime example of Australian manufacturing at its best. In fact, we compared Formero to a Chinese manufacturer we had used for an earlier job, and Formero came out ahead on all fronts. Jack and the team at Formero fabricated/CNC machined a custom part out of stainless steel for us. They were extremely responsive and helpful, the quality of workmanship was outstanding, and the turnaround time was fast for such a bespoke and detailed job (just a few weeks from order to delivery). I got a print through Formero recently and found them to be a great company.
Was really happy with the customer service that Georgia provided, she listened and took into account all the things I was hoping to get in the print.
Formero delivered a smooth surface finish without compromising the detail or accuracy on a complicated print. Really happy with how it turned out and would definitely recommend.

The team at Formero did a fantastic job of some cosmetic vacuum cast samples I needed in a hurry, they were very polite and professional to deal with, I highly recommend them for any prototyping needs and will be using them again in the future.

Such terrible Consumer experience. Used to have an account with this company when they were under a different name, but they seemed to have deleted old accounts. Tried to create a new one which needs a One time passcode sent to mobile number. however I never received it and no way to go back to the verification screen if you close it. So i gotta email their support now ? Who tests this stuff ... How as a Business can you make it hard for customer to create an account ?!

We looked into your registration attempt and found that the mobile number your had entered was incomplete, which prevented the one-time passcode from being sent. We've since manually activated your account. You can now reset your password by selecting ‘Forgot password’ on the login screen.
Earlier this year, we launched a new quoting and ordering system. While we’re proud of the improvements it offers, we also know it’s not perfect yet, and we genuinely appreciate feedback that helps us make it better. We do wish you had reached out by phone or email, your issue could have been resolved immediately.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to migrate user accounts from our old system due to encrypted password data. Passwords in our old system were encrypted in a way that prevented them from being accessed or transferred, which is a critical safeguard for protecting user data. This is why a new account was required.
As for two-factor authentication, it’s an important part of keeping customer data secure, especially given the confidential nature of many of the files we handle. Thankfully, it’s only required once at the time of account verification.

Needed a small quantity of items printed up because they are not made any more. Spoke to Jack and he was polite and very helpful, he showed me different materials that my items could be made from and advised me as to which plastics would suit. Turnaround time was fantastic, this included CAD drawings and production, total 4 days, brilliant!! Would recommend this company any time for service, quality and communication. Spoke to 3 other staff members, all were great, thanks guys for a job well done, AAA+++

Our engineering company has used Formero consistently over the last 2 years for several projects. Georgia and the team are so quick to respond to any orders and questions we may have. They always keep us updated and allow us to meet the tight deadlines with high quality parts. Formero is an excellent example of Australian manufacturing; fast, reliable, high quality and excellent customer service and communication. Amazing service. I have used Formero's 3D printing services for a few years now and they have never disappointed. Their sales staff are always great at helping me choose the right material and the parts arrive on time and are of the highest quality. I toured their Nunawading facility a year ago and can't wait to see their new printers again soon. I don't know of any other 3D printer in Australia of the same size and service level as Formero. I feel like most of the other printers in Australia actually print overseas. I would not hesitate to recommend Formero to anyone.
