I’ll keep it short and sweet. Joshua Mulligan and Emil his paralegal are both people that God put on this earth to help people. I’m certain his legal partner is as sharp as him. Let me say that I called many attorneys because I needed help with a particular issue. He was the only one that knew how to handle this issue and got it done. He came to the middle of nowhere CA and fought hard. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the level of dedication he and Emil put forth. 5 ⭐️ all day long. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him. PSA! Do not use the law firm Wilkerson and Mulligan in LaQuinta. They are untrained and unprofessional. Just had an incident where I was improperly served aggressively on behalf of the landlord. Made a police report and then contacted the lawyer on the paperwork. SHOCKING how insensitive and uneducated this lawyer was. Save your money and hire someone else!

Ms. Chimitt has never consulted with our law firm or had the
privilege of using our services. Unfortunately for Ms. Chimitt, she
knowingly lives in the home of a stalker, who continues to stalk more
than one person, and she protects him. Our legal assistant was
attempting to effectuate proper service on the address that this
stalker uses, with her apparent permission (or she would ask him to
stop using the address). The law requires that an individual be served
at the address they use on legal documentation, which is her address.
He has used her address for two years to hide from service, while
dangerously stalking others and making serious and violent threats.
She then filed a false police report claiming our legal assistant was
aggressive but did not realize that he had me on the telephone the
entire time and I could hear that it was she who was aggressive, not
him. She called our office screaming and cursing, completely out of
control, which was reflective of how she spoke with him. I attempted
to advise her of the law and to tell her that he is using her address,
but she just screamed obscenities and hung up. We were simply doing
our job to serve a stalker. One bit of advice: If you do not want
people trying to serve legal documents at your address, do not protect
a stalker from being served paperwork that protects his victim.

You’ve got prosecutors polishing their halos, judges buried under mountains of paperwork, and folks from Palm Desert and all over the valley getting marched through like cattle in a stockyard. They call it a “justice system,” but half the time it feels more like a fast-food drive-thru for convictions.

That’s why I show up swinging. My job isn’t to bow and scrape in front of the machine—it’s to jam a stick in the gears. Because behind every “case number” is a real person whose life can’t be reduced to a docket entry. And if I don’t fight for that person, the system sure as hell won’t.

Don’t make the mistake our family made. Mulligan did not fight for my brother in his trial. He did the least amount of work and my brother ended up guilty with a maximum sentence with a felony charge, no probation and no initial bail . He wouldn’t challenge the lies that were spoken from the plaintiffs’s whitenesses and when we questioned him about it, he said, “I don’t want to draw out the trial, the jury has all the evidence and they will read the facts when they deliberate”. Every time we called Mulligan to discuss my brother’s case he would be cordial, but then tell us he needed to get to his other cases. My brother is not a violent offender, he’s a beautiful person, but with Mulligan as his lawyer the plaintiff was free to show the jury a made up person in the courtroom.
