Dr. Roxanne Borukhov is absolutely awesome - a true definition of a Doctor who is passionate and knowledgeable in her field of work. She is super pleasant, personable, patient and knows how to break down medical language to simple terms and really went above and beyond. The appointment was for my Dad; it was on a Friday later in the day, and I think was her last appointment Dr. Borukhov took her time to make sure my Dad had a full understanding of everything, felt comfortable, not rushed. I came in about 30mins later to fill out the paperwork just to find out that Dr. Borukhov already did it and then took the time to explain everything to me as well.
Great location, nice and clean office and an amazing Doctor - what else can one ask for?!?

Dr B is very professional, thorough and caring. She always gave me as much time as i needed and improved my quality of life with her knowledge of hearing aids and how they work in conjunction with the eardrum. I have no eardrum but my ENT cleared me for the use of hearing aids. My mom had couple of hearing aids which she did not use and Dr. B had reprogrammed the devices and i can use them now. She definitely improved my quality of life where i did not have to break the bank. I highly recommend her.

I’ve been searching for a high-quality audiologist who could truly meet all my needs, and Dr. Borukhov exceeded every expectation. Not only did she handle every aspect of my audiology care, but I actually had a genuinely fun and enjoyable time in her office.
Dr. Borukhov has an outstanding bedside manner — warm, empathetic, humorous, and incredibly informative. She explains everything clearly and backs up her recommendations with lucid, easy-to-understand reasoning.
She spent a full hour and a half with me (far more than any other audiologist I’ve seen), and she even took the time to answer all my questions on the phone before I scheduled the appointment.
During the visit, she thoroughly walked me through my hearing test results. This is the old-fashioned model of healthcare I remember growing up with — personal, caring, and unhurried — before doctor’s offices turned into bureaucratic nightmares like the DMV. 5 stars for the patient-doctor relationship.
I’ve been wearing hearing aids for six years, and losing your hearing is a truly life-altering experience. You need an audiologist who genuinely understands what you’re going through and can provide all the related services that come with hearing loss.
I showed up with a whole box of older hearing aids that were repairable, and most places won’t even touch them if they didn’t sell them to you. Dr. Borukhov has all the equipment and parts to service older models. I walked out with repaired backups in case anything happens to my new ones — all done in the same visit.
She also gave me several months’ worth of batteries, all the necessary replacement parts, and clear operating instructions.
She even told me she can safely remove rubber tips if they ever fall into the ear canal and that she can clean wax as well. In one appointment, she took care of everything I normally would have had to see multiple providers for. 5 stars for repairs and the incredible peace of mind knowing she’ll be there if anything goes wrong.
The office staff was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Borukhov personally followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was working well and that I was happy.
If you’re looking for an audiologist who treats you like a person instead of just another patient, Dr. Borukhov is an absolute gem. Highly, highly recommend!

From the doorman to the receptionists, the second I entered this establishment, I was welcome with kindness and showed courtesy. Dr.R (Roxanne Borukhov) and Dr..K (Kathleen Kalschmid), shared there specialized knowledge and graciously collaborative an efficient assessment taking my needs into consideration. (Dr.R) was my primary doctor who overseen my ear condition and within seconds her calm demeanor eased my fears and restored my confidence. (Dr.R) professionalism and etiquette showed with her active listening and effective communication, as she made my office visit a pure joy and pleasure, offering information and assistance that will make my remaining years to live a better place to hear, so I can comfortably communicate with others. I found the expertise here unmatched. Dr. Boruhkov provided thorough testing and explained everything in a way I could understand. She was incredibly kind and attentive, listening carefully to my concerns and making me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit.
Dr. Boruhkov took the care & time to teach me about my new hearing aides and answered my questions and concerns without judgement.
Dr. Roxanne Borukhov and Dr. Kathleen Kalschmid both possess professionalism, knowledge and humor; traits that create an excellent hearing healthcare environment.
At my first visit, I was set up with my new hearing Oticon devices. I am still getting used to them but during my second visit, I received adjustments that made a helpful difference. They also assisted with the UFT paperwork which I found reassuring.
The ladies at the reception desk are professional, kind and helpful as well. It isn’t always that you can find these qualities in my experience.
On a side note: on my way to the office, I slipped and fell . I hurt my hand and arm. Kristen at reception, quickly fixed me up with a band-aid, Bacitracin and a cup of water. Dr. Kalschmid checked my arm and hand and talked to me until I calmed down. Dr. Boruhkov did the same.
They go above and beyond to make their patients feel seen, heard and taken care of.

I went in to do an ear mold. scheduled a couple of hours before the appointment, Dr. Borukhov answered me in a manner of minutes and took me right in. Super nice and professional she answered all my questions and made the whole experience a breeze.
This office lives up to the reviews here, Dr. K is spectacular. From front desk to audiology consult this office does a phenomenal job and is incredibly professional. Will be returning and bringing back family.

I was having trouble with my hearing aid device, the sound wasn’t clear. I even considered cochlear implant surgery. When I spoke with Dr. Roxanne Borukhova and Dr. Kathleen Kalschmid at first hills audiology, they listened to my concerns and suggested trying a bi-cross hearing aid instead. It made a huge difference — my hearing improved and the confusion went away. I canceled my surgery plans and am very happy with the results. Dr. K and her team are amazing. I was referred to see her by my primary care doctor. On my first visit I was somewhat skeptical because of previous experience with audiologists, who were basically salespersons for hearing aids. But Dr. K and her team were more than that. They cared and they showed it.
By the time I returned for follow-up I was scheduled for eye surgery and could hardly see. Dr. K walked me to my car. I was touched and impressed.
I got my hearing aids and each time I have a reason to stop by her office, she is willing to assist.

I saw Dr. Kathleen Kalschmid today to get hearing aids and she was absolutely fantastic. I was a bit nervous prior to my appt. I'm 35 and wasn't sure of what to expect of the visit. But Dr. Kalschmid was so welcoming from the start. She patiently took me through everything, explained my hearing test and the hearing aids very thoroughly and put me at ease. I left feeling so happy that I went to finally get my hearing aids. It's very clear she cares about her patients. I highly recommend going to her!

I made an appointment last minute for a medical hearing test in regards to a job I applied for. The front desk receptionist was very nice and helpful in getting me the soonest appointment. My dad had been getting by with old, broken hearing aids for years and honestly wasn’t sure anyone could really help him at this point. Dr. Borukhov was incredibly kind and patient. They didn’t rush anything, just took the time to really understand what my dad needed and walked us through the different hearing aid options, including choices at different price points. There was no pressure, just honest advice and a lot of support.
