Mike was a great host. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the culture through food, we ate like the locals, tasted a variety of olives and strolled through the markets to uncover just how fresh the food was (with a few tips on how to shop for fresh meat, fish and vegetables). They’ve built a great relationship with the small business and restaurant owners and employees, making for an overall lovely experience. Not only a must, I’d recommend you do this early into your trip.

Fabulous Experience
Mike our guide was very informative & taught us a lot about Greek food. We had a lovely group of ladies with us, which also made it interesting as we exchanged culinary traditions from other countries. A well recommended experience, we ate plenty, so didn’t eat for the rest of the day.

The tour was excellent! Our guide, Arela, was friendly and very thorough. She knew so much about the market and the different foods of Greece. We got to sample a big variety of food and drink. The portion sizes were huge and we got enough food to take with us for another meal. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in food and local insights. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made it interesting. All in our group got to know about one another prior to starting our tour. The food was amazing and we learned the history behind everything. Besides the food, we really liked the stop at the honey shop! We bought lots of these unique items to take home. By end of tour we were stuffed with great food and unique Greek drinks. I highly recommend this food walk.
I thought a 5 star rating was too good to be true but we booked 3 tickets and had the most fun we could have imagined!!! I honestly can’t say which I enjoyed more the amazing food we tried or Mike’s witty commentary (I learned more about peppers than I even knew possible ;-)

Very happy to have joined this food tour. It was for sure one of the highlights of our trip. From the beginning, everything was extremely well organized. Our guide, Arela, was very friendly, and clearly passionate about Greek food and history. It felt like being shown around by a local friend who knows exactly where to go and what to order. We had the pleasure of meeting a delightful couple from the US and we think this food tour is a great way to meet people from around the world while travelling. The portions were generous and by the end I was absolutely full, so definitely come hungry! Absolutely recommended!
