Came here last night for my birthday with my husband and sister. While the food was good, service was not. The hostess did seat us pretty quickly though, i just felt like the servers weren’t ready for us to be sat.
when we were greeted by our server, we told her what we wanted to drink and she said “great, head over to the salad bar” we took our time at the salad bar, sat back down and started eating. about 15 minutes go by, i see our server passing around tables refilling water. thats when i noticed we didnt have our drinks nor any water… not even water glasses. i felt so rude waving her down but if i hadnt she wouldve just walked right passed up. i remember i kept looking over at the bar, bartender was chilling. so i guess she forgot to put in our orders until i reminded her. After that, she never came back to check on us again.(The Gauchos were super polite and quick, 5 stars for them)
it wasnt until about 15 minutes before closing, we were finishing up our meal and another server came to ask us if we wanted anything. i told him “yes could i please get another drink” he said “yes” but it was like he pretended to walk over to the bar to put in the order. We finished eating, i went to the bathroom, came back, no drink. it wasnt until 9:25pm, finally had my drink but i felt like i had to INHALE it bc there was almost no one in there. it felt like we waited forever for the bill, again we had to track down the second server just to ask for that. and as were ready to pay, guess who we see again…. our original server WOW. So quick to take the payment, asked if we needed change back as she was walking away. i had to raise my voice to tell her “200 cash and the rest on the card!”
Mind you we got there at 7:30 pm- ish. didnt leave until almost 9:35pm
ive actually never sat in a restaurant THAT long on such a slow night. Yes it was slow to the point where we had 4 gauchos at our table a few times. only one of of the restaurant was being used basically. one person at the bar for the most part. Like i said, food was good but the two servers and bartender were disappointing.
