Woke up to what looked like a swimming pool in the lounge room after my annoying window was left open during a huge storm. My hubby called Flood Squad Australia half asleep and stressed out, and they talked us through what to do until help arrived. Who ever spoke to him on the phone was so calm and reassuring, which honestly helped settle us down while we waited. Mel and Ti showed up fast, carried out the water extraction and set up drying equipment straight away. Mel and Tai arrived promptly, assessed and explained the whole process to me almost immediately. They took extra care to ensure the water wouldn't create more damage to my personal belongings and to be honest my stress levels went down. The Job did take about 4 days but it was worth it, having a team be thorough is great. Even calling once the job was completed for a follow up was what made me give this 5 star review!! I contacted Flood Squad Aus for mould remediation at one of my rental properties. Sam handled everything over the phone and was great to deal with. Mel inspected the site, removed the mould safely, and carried out a full treatment to stop it returning. They also provided a mould clearance certificate, which made it easy to show the property manager that the issue had been resolved properly. I can’t express how grateful I am to Flood Squad Australia! I woke up to a nightmare scenario—an overnight leak inside the wall had caused extensive flooding in my home. And then came the equipment: it was the first time I’d ever seen a moisture meter, and it looked like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. The team at Flood Squad were amazing! They arrived around 6pm for an initial assessment and had everything set up and running by 7:30pm. The team were fantastic to work with. Everything was dried, removed on schedule and the carpets were cleaned, sanitised and relaid perfectly. Such an excellent service. Would highly recommend!
