absolutely love this place and all the employees are so kind and patient with me my father and my kids when they come. my dad has stage four prostate cancer that’s a metastatic and he is bedbound speech aphasia Hoyer lift. I’m a single mom with three kids. one disabled And work a full-time 40 Hour Week job . they are very considerate and will do their best to work with everyone to accommodate you and your family. thank you for all you do and all your doing for my father.

This office is special. The staff care for you like you were their own family. Dr. Dodd is very sharp, professional, knowledgeable and caring. P.A. Miller is excellent. But wait, there’s more! The creams of the crop for this office are the nurses and technicians. Nurses Melody, Marie, Alyson and Kristen are amazing. Their service is second to none. They provide kind and compassionate care, a quality which is increasingly hard to find in today’s healthcare scene. The staff in this office has literally saved my life recently with their quick thinking and actions. I consider everyone in this office as my extended family. As Dr Kumar of “Florida Cancer Specialist & Research Institute” approached retirement I was very antsy about changing doctors. His care and love for his patients had been more than I expected. The doctors and staff that worked with him were amazing and an experience hard to follow. The new doctor’s office under the same brand “Florida Cancer Specialist & Research Institute” is bright and warm. Some of Dr Kumar’s staff was a welcome sight, to have joined Dr Pinnamaneni, another task more than I expected. I have been to the new clinic four times now. I’ve been in the reception area, triage, bloodwork, exam room, and infusion room. There’s not one nurse, technician, or assistant that doesn’t care. Smiles, and leaving their concerns behind to provide a positive stance for us is there, as it was in Dr Kumar’s office. I am so blessed to have found him and then following his direction Dr Pinnamaneni.

My son was referred to Florida Florida cancer specialist Port Orange for chemotherapy. Upon arriving, I inquired about the staff member that would be able to answer a few of my sons questions surrounding nutrition and supplementation, exercise, etc., I was informed there is not a medical professional on staff or affiliated with this facility that would be available to talk to any of chemotherapy patients. After asking the office manager in person, I called back the following day to to find out if there was anyone at all available at any location or any staff member affiliated with Dr. the doctors office that is available to talk to my son. After much conversation, simply going around and round, she informed me of a support services department. She would not give me any additional information and she would not answer my question as far as who would my son contact to request support services. She ended up hanging up on me and I would like to move my son away from this facility. Other cancer facilities have teams of medical professionals that are available to answer questions and guide people at this horrible time in their life to do the right thing. Advent hospital and Halifax hospital have teams of specialist available and I’m really wondering why my son was referred to this particular facility.

Copay - know what your copay is. Was initially charged $40 when it should have been $25. They did refund when shown the info on insurance id card.

First off, the people that work here are nice. The second part is not as great. I saw the nurse on a visit that was maybe 10 minutes long. I was charged $382 on my insurance and now they are chasing me and gave me a month to pay for $10!! After I already paid my co pay. Look up how much they are worth! And they harass a cancer patient for $10. I guess that billion isn't enough. Discusting. Last time I paid more you had to refund me. My next visit will be my last. I'll find a smaller place to go. How did that Antitrust settlement go? They were threatening me with a collection for $10!

Never in my life have I ever been trapped in a room being drilled for money for services not rendered in there. I was laughed at for having anxiety and being upset as i was unable to leave the room with a worker blocking the doorway. Two women barking at me at me while I seat in a chair crying like im not listening about what I owe. Where as the truth was they were not listening. The rior visit I asked for the script to be printed and went somewhere else for my labs. They did not mark it in the system and refused to hear me when I stated I did not have those services rendered here. Finally they liste and the woman says Trinity sent the blood to us to process. Lied straight to my face. This facility continuously ripping off hca workers excessively billing. 18 minutes for repeated tests and no answers should never cost more than 600.00 after insurance. How dare you bill me for more than the birth of my son without even listening to any of my cocerns. The patient support rep is a joke, unable to actually do anything but make you repeat youeself and relive a nightmare is useless. They have no idea and cannot acess anything. You people would not even work with my insurance after they paid you hundreds of dollars. Jenny stopped them from reviewing the claims. Rude and just an awful person about the whole situation. Stay away from this place.

Horrible staff I have never treated so rudely. I came in for my preliminary labs in preparation for my prolia shot next week. First, the nurse never greeted me or even looked at me--EVER! We got into the room and she got ready to take my blood. I asked what kind of test she needed. She said CMP. So I had to ask her what that was. It's a Comprehensive Metabolic Panel. Since I had just had that done 5 days prior for my annual wellness exam, and had the results with me, I told her I really didn't need the same test again. So she said she would put down that I refused the test, which I said was not true. Again I had just had that test, and did not think medicare would cover the same test twice in one week. I don't know what she typed in my chart, but she said I could go. When I got home I called, thinking to just have someone check my chart. I got a lady who knew nothing and was not willing to check anything. Best she could offer was I could bring my test results in and leave them for the doctor to review. All it would have taken was her asking someone, or they could have scanned my results in. Absolutely no customer service.

It was so much better with the old staff. They anyways lifted your spirits up. Now that there are different people at the desk they don't smile they act like it's a bother to wait on patients. They need to learn that these people are fighting for there life so those smiles and prayers help lift there spirits up, makes them happy for a few minutes. I love this place but please have a talk with the staff about smiling and greeting patients like they care.

Very positive energy and the medical staff is great DR treat patients as people takes their time with each person all questions answered everyone works together to make sure you are taken great care of from the time you walk in.

My nurse, I can’t remember her name even though I asked her, was the best! I didn’t feel the needle go in my arm at all when she took my blood. She was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. She has bright red dyed hair. She deserves a promotion and a raise. Honestly, she is the best nurse ever!!
