N'ayant que peu d'expérience en flamenco (c'était le 3ème spectacle auquel j'assistais), je ne suis pas en mesure de donner mon avis sur la qualité des guitariste/chanteur/danseurs. PAR CONTRE, ce que je suis en mesure de dire, c'est que le personnel est très désagréable et n'est là que pour pousser à la consommation ! Aucun sourire, indifférence totale lorsque les plats ou boissons sont servis, etc. Ayant réservé peu de temps avant la prestation, je n'étais pas bien placé pour voir la scène. La serveuse que j'ai interpellé pour être mieux placé, si désistement de spectateur, m'a répondu, vivement agacée, qu'elle reviendrait vers moi si c'était le cas... chose qu'elle n'a pas fait. Je suis retourné la voir juste avant que le spectacle ne commence pour lui demander si je pouvais me placer sur une place restée vacante et elle a refusé catégoriquement. Il n'y avait que des touristes dans la salle et en tant que tel, je ne recommande pas cette salle de flamenco !
We visited Jardines de Zoraya on a Friday evening for dinner and the flamenco show. Be aware when purchasing such packages that the time you select will be for the show, and you will need to arrive 90 minutes before that for the dinner. We chose the Flavors of Andalusia, three-course option (appetizer, entree, dessert). The options for each course are subject to change, so let it suffice here to say that the food was excellent. As the menu changes, so do the flamenco groups who perform the show. The group on our evening were very good, but underscored that flamenco is a living tradition. The music and the dance steps (particularly the footwork) were what most tourists would anticipate for flamenco. The costuming and presentation, however, were more modern than traditional (perhaps, "stereotypical") flamenco. This observation is less a criticism than information for persons considering this venue. If you are wanting the flowing skirts and round gaucho hat flourishes, then inquire ahead of time and potentially look elsewhere. The performance was one hour in length. You will definitely want to book your evening in advance as the show we attended was at capacity, and seating for the show is prioritized based on the order in which tickets were sold.
