I give Flado.id full marks for their expertise and patience in dealing with an Australian Traveler who's Australian Bank thinks flado.id is a scam because :
1. They are an International Company working out of Jakarta and Denpasar - but also these Australian Banks say anyone who uses WhatsApp must be scammers ! - How narrow sighted are these Banks.

You're absolutely right about the banks being a bit cautious, but we want to highlight that they’re not entirely wrong. However, it’s important to understand that it's not us who contacted you – you reached out to us first. And when you make a payment through your card, it’s processed by a company because only registered businesses can handle online card payments. 💳💼
Yes, making payments online does carry a certain level of risk, but as long as you’re confirming everything yourself and nobody is asking you for sensitive information like your OTP, it’s absolutely safe. 🔒
One thing we always recommend is verifying the company's documents. Our company documents are available in Indonesia, and all Limited Liability companies are registered starting with "PT". We are "PT" from Flado Indonesia Utama, and Flado Indonesia Ultra, with offices in Jakarta and Bali. All payments go directly to our company accounts. If you were to make a direct bank transfer, always check the recipient name. If it’s an individual’s name, it’s likely a scam. ❌
We always ensure payments are made to the company, and we pay taxes on all incoming funds. Some companies might try to bypass taxes, but we don’t support that. Sadly, scammers do this and try to deceive clients by requesting payments to personal accounts, which leaves you unprotected. 🤦♂️

I can only warn everyone against getting a KITAS through this agency. Yes, you will receive the KITAS, but they completely refuse to provide any further information or support needed to obtain an SKTT. As a result, you’ll end up with a KITAS but won’t be able to open a bank account, buy a scooter, buy a car, or basically do anything that requires an SKTT.
What’s even worse is that their website advertises all the things you can do with a KITAS and mentions the SKTT requirements — yet they conveniently forget to mention that it’s impossible to get an SKTT with a KITAS issued through them.
Do yourself a favor and choose another agency right away. I now have the hassle of applying for a new KITAS elsewhere just to be able to get an SKTT. Unbelievable — they offer no help at all. So please, be careful everyone!
Of course the agency tries to claim otherwise in their comments — an SKTT can only be applied for with the sponsor’s information, which they refuse to provide. Your Villa owner can not apply it for you.
So make sure from the very beginning to choose a reliable agency, one that gives you the sponsor information and even helps you apply for the SKTT, which by the way is mandatory to obtain within 14 days of receiving your KITAS. But of course, they conveniently forget to mention that too. :-)
