Eric is absolutely awesome! First off, the guy is one of the nicest and most sincere people you’ll meet. Getting down to business, the jeans are perfect. I got a custom pair of jeans made and then I had alterations made to a pair I already had. I originally came in because jeans never really fit me right (I have an athletic build so I had big legs and a small waist). When I came in, he explained why I was having fit issues and why most alterations places can’t really fix them because they don’t have the right tools. He was able to take my pair of previously altered jeans and make them fit night and day better. The custom jeans are even better than the alterations. They absolutely fit perfect and you can tell the construction quality is great (even better than the jeans that I brought in that cost more). Plus he just adds so many little things into the jeans that make them that much more special. Again, I can’t say enough good things about Eric or his jeans. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The process couldn't be easier - bring in your favorite pair of jeans, try on the ready-to-wear model closest to it, and Eric will work with you to give or take a couple inches here and there to match the fit that you know and love. I now have a pair of jeans that fit exactly the way that I want at a price competitive with the most sought-after selvedge denim brands. There's literally no reason for me to ever buy a pair of jeans elsewhere.

Eric did a red thread for all of the interior stitching. You can see it on the inside of the pants cuff and on the backside of the belt loops.

There are a number of subtle details that would go unnoticed or unappreciated by the casual observer.

The coin pocket has a slight corner of selvedge exposed.

The belt loops have a small strip of stuffing inside to make it easier to loop a belt. The belt loops are folded under and sewn into the waistband, making a stronger attachment to the pants.

The top shank (button) on the fly is slightly offset to ensure a more secure closure.

Inside the waistband, he has sewn in tags for the Japanese and American flags, indicating where the denim was woven, and where the jeans were constructed.

I love the designs on the pocket bags.

I chose a straight leg and hemmed. I like the way they drape. Some straight leg jeans are too wide at the bottom for me, but these are just perfect. They are a little narrow, but not as narrow as a tapered leg would be. Overall, exceptional quality, craftsmanship and artistry.
