Today we had our trial session and let me just say that the kids are having an amazing training session! It’s great for kids and each kid can work at their own pace but also are encouraged to push out of their comfort zone 😍 we have tried other places before but the children were really bored and never felt they were learning anything new. I’m so glad we found this place I’m definitely going to sign up and come back every week for more fun and challenging activities for the kids!
Thanks so much
My non-speaking level 3 autistic son loved his first session with Eddie the other day. Eddie brought out a variety of activities for my son to try. Eddie was upbeat and my son quickly started to feel at ease. Eddie also introduced us to the other personal trainers on-site. It was a lovely relaxed environment. I am looking forward to bringing my son back again.
Eddie is an absolute star. As an autistic adult (diagnosed later in life) it’s been hard to learn what I need in life to help me build confidence in myself - weight training has done that for me. It helps me feel strong, physically and mentally. It helps me have structure/routine, and get out of the house and build my capacity for social & community participation. I decided to look into NDIS services that could assist with building on this, and found fitrme. I had an amazing first session with Eddie, his individually tailored approach was so comforting. I felt safe in the environment, and focused due to the lack of music (a request I pre-made and he followed through with). I look forward to continuing working with him to build both my strength and confidence. Yay!
I started my 12 week program with Eddie 12 weeks ago. 6am every morning and have not lost 1 gram of weight. I have however lost approx 9% body fat. Shows the scales are not everything. My clothes fit me better. I have more energy to enjoy life. Well worth the investment I have made in myself.
‘FITRME’ MY CAVALRY
I sought out the services of Fitrme Personal Training Studio about a year ago.
I was and still am, in desperate need of rehabbing a somewhat damaged and failing body.
The long-term goal is to keep my body and mind as strong, fit and healthy as possible - until the day ‘help/the fix’ arrives.
It’s not easy staying up and engaged waiting for a day that might never come. Not in my lifetime at least.
I was doing some naval gazing just the other day when it dawned on me that in a way, the cavalry has already arrived. And that the team and community at Fitrme are my cavalry (t-shirts available in the foyer!).
I think there’s something juicy in there for all of us don’t you?
Charge!
