We’ve had an excellent experience working with Cameron Barley at Neighbourhood Holdings. A lot of reviews talk about rates, products, or outcomes, but not enough attention is given to the customer service and behind-the-scenes coordination that actually keeps a file moving. Cameron excels in that area. She is professional, responsive, organized, and very easy to work with. From our perspective at Bona Fide Appraisals, her communication and follow-up have been outstanding, and that kind of professionalism makes a real difference in the appraisal and mortgage process. Shout out as well to the staff working behind the scenes, because strong service is never just one person, it is a team effort. Cameron has been excellent, and we would gladly work with her again.

I received a commitment letter super quick, the underwriter was great to work with and we were able to close this deal in a very short amount of time. I have had a few deals Completed with this lender that the one thing that I do appreciate is their high degree of communication. If there's a delay in communication the underwriter will follow up and provide you with enough information so that you can either answer by email or be prepared for a conversation to go over a file. With over 23 years of experience I do appreciate the ability to speak directly to the underwriter or the business development person about a file to see if there is a potential fit. More complicated applications may require a 10 or 15 minute review once the staff have received the file looked at some documents and need more clarity before saying yes or no to the application. Communication is big in our industry and Fisgard gets that communication piece right 90% of the time.
