I had a great experience learning at First Shot Barista Training. The course was very practical and easy to follow, especially for beginners like me. The trainers were friendly, patient, and always willing to help. I learned a lot of useful skills such as making coffee, using the espresso machine, and basic customer service. The environment was professional but also relaxed, which made it easier to learn and practice. After completing the course, I feel more confident to apply for barista jobs. I highly recommend First Shot to anyone who wants to start working in hospitality

I couldn’t have asked for a better course. Le is so nice and motivating, but also lets you know how to improve! He doesn’t sugarcoat anything, as he really wants you to succeed. The things we were taught were all so important, and taught in such a way that I remember everything front to back. Honestly, I would do it again just for fun! Highly recommend to anyone.

I had such a great experience a First Shot Barista Training! Le is an amazing mentor and explained + demonstrated everything clearly. His enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge and his positive humour made the learning environment really motivating and enjoyable. Not only did we learn the practical side of working in a cafe, but we also learned a lot about the coffee process and the industry itself, which helped us understand everything to a deeper level. The amount of resources and support you receive is 100% worth it, from their online student study programs to the guidance on how to find work. I actually found a job very quickly after finishing the classes, thanks to their ongoing mentorship even after the course, as well as the advice on how to do our resumes, secure trials and land a job. I left feeling much more confident using an espresso machine and working in a cafe environment. I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to start working as a barista or improve their skills!

Being a Barista is not only about your Latte Art or how well you are behind the machine, purging your wand every now & then but it is also and most importantly about how you are as a person, how friendly and caring you are to your customers in not only providing a consistently good coffee but also an intimate caring environment. When I was joining the course, I was quite apprehensive because I had no experience in being a barista. But the first class was such an immersive learning experience that by the end I could manage to make good coffee *after multiple failed attempts*.Over the weeks, I learnt skills that helped me become consistent and appreciate the art more. But what piqued my interest was our trainer, Le, who himself happened to be an expert barista *retired*. He showed me what a barista should be like; efficient and organized yet caring. He make the whole atmosphere easy going and conducive for learning, providing his time to each and every one. Because of this, I was able to understand my weaknesses and strengths. The course is so designed that it will not only give you skills but also proper support for job hunting. In my opinion, there isn't any course in Sydney at least that provides such comprehensive training and support. Big Thanks to Kevin for bringing First Shot Training in Sydney. Gratitude to Nyugen Le for all the help and love. Cheers 🙌🏻✨
