Within minutes of arriving in Bonaire, the beautiful Louisa had a placard with our name on it and whisked us away to her car rental facility in air conditioned luxury. Her van had a huge space for luggage, perfect for divers with all their equipment. Her vehicles are clean and well kept. She was a wealth of knowledge for us first timers and we were thrilled to have rented from her! Prices are extremely competitive and she is the owner operator of First Bonaire. You will not be disappointed if you contact her for your car rental news on island!

We rented their Jeep Wrangler for a day of exploration what can I say…well let’s start with the booking process it was straight forward and easy staff was great to work with! Day of communication and pick up was easy and stress free. Everyone we worked with made our experience amazing. Now the Jeep was clean and exactly what was described to us. We were given a map as well had the ability to rent snorkel gear so we did not have to lug our own around! This was the highlight of my trip going to the national park and knowing I had a vehicle capable to traverse all the terrain there. Would rent this same setup in a heartbeat just look at the picture I took of the jeep it looks at home where it was meant to be!

Fantastic experience and service. It's an honest car rental place run by a real human being that will treat you like you are on vacation. Louise was wonderful to deal with and made my life super easy in Bonaire. I can't speak highly enough about my experience with First Bonaire after previous years renting with Hertz (absent-minded) and Avis (scammy) on the Island. Every time I've rented a truck in Bonaire in the past, I dreaded dealing with them, but Louise made it so easy and pain free that I will use her every time I'm in Bonaire. You should too, unless you're renting my truck for the week... don't do that.

Great experience and good price! I think these guys used to be Bon Bini Bonaire Car Rental and had good reviews before changing names. Great communication before and during our stay. We were referred to them by Easy Car Rental Bonaire. The staff who helped us with pickup was great. He met us at the airport when we came out. We were 5 people but it was ok since riding in the back pickup truck bed is acceptable in Bonaire. We got a Mitsubishi L200 manual diesel pickup truck and it was perfect for the 5 of us diving. The car was in good condition, clean, and worked well. There was a problem with the flat tire sensor light coming on but when I emailed to mention this they replied immediately and said they knew about it and were monitoring it. We went to the national park using the truck and it was great for that. I would not do the national park in a little car especially if it had rained recently and was muddy. The kids enjoyed sitting in the back bed for that part of the trip. Drop off was super easy. We had an early flight and just left it in the long term parking for them to pick up. No issues during our stay and use. No issues with deposit. I would rent from these guys again for sure!

Fast rental and clean cars! We rented for one day in Bonaire and it was a seamless experience. The car was in excellent shape and ready to go from the moment we arrived. No lengthy paperwork or upsells. Pickup and dropoff from cruise port was efficient and reliable. Only regret was not staying longer on the island. We hope to return to Bonaire and will definitely rent a car again with First Bonaire when we do!

Rented 3 pickups from First Bonaire Car Rental for our group of 14. Steven met us at the port and took a short very short walk over to our pickup. He met us and drop off was at the same place. Pickups were first class, reliable, nice and clean. Steven was very friendly and made everything a breeze. 100% recommend renting from First Car Rental if your in Bonaire. You won’t be disappointed!
