Life changing infant feeding support Meeting Cat has been life changing with my second child. I worked with her for two months on my feeding journey from breastfeeding to pumping to bottle feeding. She helped me navigate low supply, combo feeding, infant weight gain concerns, weaning, and the rollercoaster of postpartum emotions that come with infant feeding. I wouldn’t have made it as far as I did without her!

My baby had tongue tie and poor weight gain. After going through 4 prior lactation consultants and 2 months of triple feeding with a lot of PTSD, I had lost confidence in my milk being calorically sufficient and in my ability to nurse my baby. When my baby showed some signs of wanting to latch again, I was nervous to reach out to a lactation consultant again, but I am so grateful I connected with her! Cat was a breath of fresh air-prioritizing my goals and sanity over milk supply and textbook answers. She was professional and very empathetic. When I came down with mastitis, she had the added skills to teach me lymphatic drainage. She gave me a more realistic path and the confidence to be able to nurse my baby and be less dependent on the pump. I will forever be grateful to her for the breastfeeding relationship I was able to achieve with my baby!

Cat is nothing but AMAZING! I’ve used her for 2 of my 3 kids. My first experience with Cat was with my first born and as a new mom breastfeeding was a stressful struggle. Cat was able to assess my son and find the root cause, helping me with what steps to take next. My husband and I both agreed that she was our breastfeeding cheerleader sent from heaven, we felt such a huge weight come off of us. When it came to my third born having weight issues problem I knew right away who to call. Cat has worked with me and my baby from 2 weeks old to 4 months old to ensure the success of my breastfeeding journey. Cat is not only a lactation consultant she’s your friend. I would recommend Cat to all my pregnant mamas that need help or an extra boost with breastfeeding.

I used Cat for both of my babies and benefitted greatly from her professional care. She gave excellent referrals when recommending additional services like physical therapy/lymphatic massage for clogged ducts and pediatric dentist for tongue tie. She has a great sense of humor and was always respectful and made me feel comfortable. She always responded to my messages, even at late hours when I was worried or hurting. Her care empowered me with confidence and knowledge to continue breastfeeding for several years. I'm so glad I had her support and would recommend her services to anyone feeding their baby.

UPDATED REVIEW: still 5 ⭐️ Cat has been helping us with breastfeeding our newborn and for every new parents: it is so essential! Having support and guidance makes everything else less stressful. Her advice has been invaluable and dad and I were able to get 7h of sleep by day 7, and our baby gained his birth weight back within the first few days. FIRST REVIEW: I had a prenatal appointment with Cat and she was amazing. She made me feel very comfortable with her and she has an incredible capacity to understand someone's personality and goals. She also shared very good knowledge with me. I feel she be an incredible resource in my breastfeeding journey and I fell more confident to know that will have such support along the way.

Cat is amazing. She has been helping me with my breastfeeding journey and there is no way I could have done this without her. I can see why women that initially struggle with breastfeeding give up because it can be overwhelming and frustrating. Where do I even begin?! I strongly believe Cat saved my breastfeeding journey and gave me the tools needed to breastfeed for 18 months. I initially reached out to her when my baby was a few months old due to slow weight gain and sleepiness at the breast. Reflux and allergies were issues that came up and she helped us navigate those as well! I was so sleep deprived and my breastfeeding/sleep schedule was not sustainable. She helped me with a pumping schedule to get my supply back up and reassured me that this was doable! With her guidance I was able to breastfeed well past my goal of a year! I know that never would have been possible without her help. She is so knowledgable and understanding of everyone’s individual situations. I strongly recommend reaching out to her. You will not regret it!

I was matched with Catherine through the lactation network. She was truly a joy to work with. From the first visit her compassion and understanding was apparent as a fellow mom who had lived experience of lactation. She always allowed for ample time to address all of my concerns in every visit no matter how small. She considered not only lactation issues but also how feeding can affect sleep and development as she expressed these to both be interests of hers and she is also a trained sleep consultant. She was amazing with my baby and made him feel comfortable. I truly enjoyed working with her and would recommend her to any new mother looking to have guidance with lactation and all the nuances that come with breastfeeding.
