My husband and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary by watching the Minnesota Wild play the Jets. The game itself was fantastic. However, getting to our seats was EXTREMELY difficult. We asked 2 staff members to help us find our seat. They were clueless. I had to climb 4 flights of steps with my cane while my husband's hands were full of souvenirs and food. I was in so much pain due to not having correct guidance from the staff. I wondered how they could keep their job since they had no idea where our seats were. Then, once we slowly waddled our way through the line of people, I had to sit at a 90° angle the entire time AFTER my knee was throbbing from the stairs. It was very frustrating and painful. On a happier note, the burgers and beer we got from the vendors were fantastic!
Tonight I was at the Papa Roach concert. December 2nd 2025. I was in the front row on the floor the whole show with my wife. There were so many drunk people causing problems/fights etc. and the security guards were top-notch. One guard in particular, I wish I would have gotten his name as this guy deserves a raise. He had to remove so many drunk women, some of which were at least 250 lb, and he took care of them like they were nothing. He did it with respect and dignity as well. I am thoroughly impressed. He was working at the front in between the stage and the pit, and he was wearing a red shirt. I hope whoever sees this review passes this along to whoever's in charge of the security team and gives this guy a serious bump in pay or a promotion. The Canada Life center was super clean, but I have to complain about the drink prices. And no I'm not talking about alcohol. Water should not cost $5.53, that's ridiculous. People were literally blacking out from heat exhaustion. Summer in the city in Steinbach Manitoba hands out free water and there are thousands of people at that event. Come on guys, do better. All security did phenomenal job, but again I want to reiterate I am definitely signaling out the dude in the red. This guy should be running the show. Top notch.

I've been to several events here and have enjoyed the venue as a whole. My reason for the 1⭐️ is because of a specific incident.
I booked pre-sale concert tickets to a favourite artist of mine so I could get good seats. A few days before the show, my seats were changed and I was not notified. The only reason I figured it out is because I went to transfer the tickets to other folks in my group of 7 - we were no longer seated together.
After hours dealing with Ticketmaster, and them shifting the blame to True North, I finally got the answer from TN that my seats were changed because of production issues. Told me to go to the box office the night of. I did. They offered me worse tickets if we wanted to stay together as a group. While there were many better tickets still available. This really disappointed me, just terrible customer service. The cherry on top was that there were people sitting in our original seats. Why would you do this. They also did not reply to my emails afterwards for an explanation.
