Ethan, when you first brought this concern to our attention — before even taking the vehicle to another shop — we immediately told you that if the issue was related to our repair, we would absolutely take care of it. We specifically asked you to have the other shop take photos of the allegedly damaged part so we could properly verify the concern and either correct the issue or refund you if necessary.

You agreed to this. However, after taking the vehicle to the other mechanic, you informed us that they “forgot” to take any photos or documentation of the part in question.

We have never refused to help you. In fact, we were willing from the beginning to stand behind our work if evidence showed the issue was related to our service. Unfortunately, without any documentation of the removed part or condition before replacement, there is no way for us to properly verify the claim being made.

We stand behind our work and always try to resolve concerns professionally and fairly.

We’d like to clarify the full timeline of events because this review leaves out many important facts.

You originally contacted us on October 21, 2025 because your Hummer would not start. We diagnosed the issue as a failed fuel pump, provided you with an estimate, and received your approval to proceed with the repair.

Once the fuel tank was lowered, the metal fuel lines on top of the tank were found to be extremely rusted and unsafe to reuse. You were shown the condition of these parts in person and agreed they needed replacement. You were given the option to source the hoses yourself or have us provide them, and you chose to have us supply them.

Approximately a month later, you contacted us regarding the fuel gauge reading incorrectly. Even though the fuel pump itself was operating properly, we still sent a technician out to inspect the concern. At that time, the issue appeared to be electrical in nature, which was discussed with you, especially considering the well-known electrical issues common on Hummers. You yourself acknowledged there were multiple electrical issues present on the vehicle.

Despite this, we still wanted to ensure your satisfaction. To eliminate any doubt whatsoever, we replaced the fuel pump again completely free of charge, even though testing indicated the pump itself was not the cause. After replacement, the gauge issue still persisted, which further confirmed the issue was not caused by the pump.

Even after that, we continued trying to help and ultimately replaced the pump a third time at no charge, simply to make absolutely certain the issue was not related to the part we installed. Each time, the gauge issue remained unchanged.

We have before-and-after documentation, photos, and testing records showing the fuel level readings on both the original and replacement pump assemblies matched properly. We also repeatedly responded to your concerns and returned to the vehicle multiple times in good faith.

The claim that we “did nothing” or refused to help is completely false. Very few companies would replace the same OEM fuel pump multiple times free of charge on a vehicle with ongoing unrelated electrical concerns.

At this point, we stand by our work, our documentation, and the extensive efforts made to assist you.
