We booked the acoustic duo and the 4 piece band for our Halloween wedding party and they were incredible. Easy communication with Jack beforehand. They learnt our first dance song which was great. So many compliments from our guests, setlist was amazing. We would 100% recommend FPC :)

THEY MADE OUR WEDDING! We cannot recommend them highly enough, one of the key hopes for our wedding was a full dance floor and that was 100% delivered thanks to Fake Plastic Chairs! They played an amazing variety of songs with high energy and are soo talented. It has been over a month since our wedding and we are still getting comments from guests on how epic the band were! Honestly so good! Not only were they brilliant on the day but couldn’t of been more helpful in the build up to our special day - doing anything they could to help! Again, we cannot not recommend them highly enough.

The band were absolutely excellent with great song choices, great voices and brilliant at getting the crowd involved. We had the best night and will definitely book again. Fake Plastic Chairs played our wedding recently in March. They were absolutely sensational! Honestly, we can't praise them enough for the set they delivered and the energy they brough to the dancefloor. We will remember the back to back Maccabees tracks forever, so we are super grateful! Everyone at the wedding was really complementary. Jack was also really professional in the lead up, replying promptly and ensuring the venue's rules were followed. Fake Plastic Chairs are just the most AMAZING band !!! The band first played at our wedding in 2022 and were absolutely brilliant. We just had to have them again at my big birthday in 2024 and, again they were fantastic! Highly, highly recommend them !! On both occasions friends and family have commented on how amazing they were. Jack is so easy to communicate with, the playlist options are wide and varied and they sound fantastic !!! Our party felt extra special because we knew we had the perfect band. You are absolutely missing out if you hire anyone else ! We hired Fake Plastic Chairs as the entertainment for our wedding in central Bristol, and they were brilliant. We'd seen them play at a friend's wedding and knew straight away that they were just what we wanted for our own. Their performance was excellent and got everyone up dancing with a mix of well-known tunes. The feedback we had from other guests afterwards was all extremely positive - everyone loved them. They were super reliable, really professional and easy to contact. On our wedding night they got people dancing and all our guests said how amazing they were. Fake Plastic Chairs blew us away! As a couple of music lovers, it was really important to us to choose a wedding band that would be able to deliver a fun, varied set covering a wide range of genres and styles (we both grew up listening to 90s/00s pop punk, indie and alt rock, but also wanted some classic pop songs in the mix). We also wanted to avoid anything too cheesy and predictable. After trawling through countless samey wedding band websites, we eventually contacted Fake Plastic Chairs, whose performance videos and varied repertoire stood out. I can honestly say that they were even better than we hoped – everyone commented on how brilliant they were, and they gave us a party we'll never forget. Jack and the rest of the band are true professionals. Every little detail was bang on: accurate guitar tones for each song, multi-part harmonies and seamless transitions from one song to the next. They were also communicative in the run-up to our wedding, turned up on time and loaded in and out of the venue with minimal fuss or stress. All in all, I can't recommend Fake Plastic Chairs enough. If you love music and want a band that go above and beyond for your big day, book these guys!

One of the reasons we decided to have a big wedding was for the party - and the dancing, so choosing the right band for the night was key and Fake Plastic Chairs didn’t disappoint. Our guests filled the dance floor all night and they loved the mix of old school and newer songs. It was nerve wracking to choose a band based on a small selection of sample tunes on their website, but we don’t need to worry. Our first dance song wasn’t on their list but we asked if they could play it, and they nailed it. Jack was brilliant throughout at answering questions and was quite happy to get in touch with our venue himself for any other queries. 100% recommend. Cheers guys!

We had Fake Plastic Chairs for our wedding at Wick Farm, near Bath and it was the most perfect combination. Everyone came away asking if we knew the band as they were so incredible. The communication and friendliness of Jack and the rest of the band was one of the best parts as it made it so easy to book them and work out how they would fit in with the rest of the day. Jack also did an acoustic set in the drinks reception which was such a lovely addition to keep everyone bopping along in what can be a bit of a long break between ceremony and the wedding breakfast. 10/10 highly recommend :) The Fake Plastic chairs played our wedding at Clevedon hall. Communication with Jack was helpful and prompt. Their song choices are great (a wide selection, plenty of rock/indie faves. We had a blast on the day, everything we hoped for.
