Above and Beyond in Every Way — Ten Stars If I Could!
I have never — and I mean NEVER — been so utterly impressed by a tour in my entire life. Let me make something crystal clear: I have high standards, and I genuinely did not expect this tour to be as astronomically good as it was. But oh my goodness, it completely blew me away.First of all, the guide? An actual legend. A gentleman. A hero among men. His music taste alone deserves its own separate award. Finally, someone who understands the power of a good playlist! He didn’t just drive — he curated an experience. And the sunset? Words barely do it justice. I was fully prepared to take a few photos and move on, but NO — He told us to take our time, stay as long as we wanted — no rushing, no pressure. He even offered to bring the car up to us because it was getting dark, like we were royalty out there in the mountains. Who does that these days?!And just when I thought it couldn’t possibly get better? He took us to the gas station so we could grab snacks for the ride home. I’m sorry, what?! Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to describe this level of care.To anyone even remotely considering this tour: stop hesitating. Book it immediately. Cancel your other plans. Honestly, I’d give this experience ten stars if I could. I will be telling everyone about this until the end of time.
Excelente paseo, grandes vistas y amabilidad total
Excelente servicio!!
First Day in El Salvador
Our tour guide was Cristian. He was punctual and ready to take us on this spectacular tour. The drive uphill was adventurous with beautiful views. We arrived at sunset for the epic, breathtaking views of San Salvador. Indeed, this tour is a must do in my opinion. Cristian was able to capture nice videos and pictures. At the end, he showed us the historical region which was so beautiful at night time. This tour is highly recommended

Amazing Views and Guide!
My son and I met up with our guide, Jared to take a private 4x4 tour of the views of San Salvador from the old Cable Car. We took the tour in the late afternoon and were able to watch the sunset! Jared was such a friendly host and very knowledgeable. He even took us to a local restaurant after the tour to try pupusas that were amazing!
Do not miss this evening tour, hidden gem
Saw a most gorgeous evening view of the city, encircled by volcanoes, the sun setting in the west, city lights below including Christmas lights, Lake to the east, all from a very high point once a cablecar station, approached thru a private coffee plantation. Cristian Hernandez was an outstanding guide throughout picking me up from the airport, driving 4x4 very expertly up the plantation road, explaining everything in detail, showing coffee beans out to dry as we took in the sunset. Has to be the best view of the city, still something of a secret. After that before dropping me to my hotel Cristian showed me Centro Historico in full Christmas lighting, milling with people, families, kids, live entertainment on an outdoor stage, the important buildings. This evening tour is highly recommended and Cristian is a most talented guide.
Breathtaking!
This tour is a private tour. Unlike other tours where I am grouped with other people, I as the only person on the tour. I have nothing against being grouped with other people (I do them all the time), but it was nice to just have space for myself.I booked the tour for later in the evening so that I could watch the sun set over the city and view the night lights. Jared picked me up at my hotel in the city and we made our way up the mountain. The scenery up the mountain was beautiful and you get glimpses of San Salvador. Once we got the site, we walked around the grounds of a former amusement park. Jared gave an entertaining history of the park and showed pictures of it when it was up and running. The difference between the pictures and the structures that have remained is astounding. From the site where cable car used to launch you have the most amazing view of El Salvador and mountains in the distance. We walked around exploring the grounds and watched the sunset. Then we started our drive down the mountain.Since it was just me, Jared was nice enough to make a quick stop at The Little Prince Park before he dropped me off at my hotel. It is one of my favorite books and I really appreciate that he took the time to stop.I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a relaxing way to get out and see some beautiful and amazing views of the city.

Awesome, affordable tour!
Jared was an awesome guide! Super friendly and knowledgeable about the whole area. The viewpoint is stunning, especially at sunset. He went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience. He even took me to an amazing pupusa restaurant afterwards. I absolutely recommend this tour. The price is so affordable for what you get! Highly recommend.
Amazing experience!
Amazing experience! Our guide was so friendly and we learned so much about El Salvador. The view from the mountain top was gorgeous and we got to see the sunset behind the volcano. He was kind enough to take us to a pupusaria afterwords and showed us some great sites around the city. Highly recommended!
Very Unique Experience
I booked this tour last minute and ended up being the only one on the tour and it was amazing! You can hike this trail yourself but for the cost it was much more affordable to do this tour and get driven up to the top as Ubers wouldn’t be able to enter to drive up. The views of the city and Lake were spectacular and I went during the sunset which made it even more amazing, seeing the city go lights up at night. Jared, my tour guide, was also great in giving me a history of the area. I would highly recommend you sign up for the 4:30/5:30pm tour to be able to watch the sunset. If you wanted to I saw people bring food/snacks up for a quick picnic as well, which was a great way experience.

Best value for a tour in San Salvador!
Was totally unexpected as to what this tour would inclulde, but the trip up the mountain by 4x4 (required) was pretty cool, and views from the top where there was a former cable car landing (cable car used to run til the revolution in 80s shut it down). Now its pretty much vacant except for coffee beans drying! Then my guide Jared surprised me with an offer to go up Boqueron too, which is on the other side of San Salvador! We drove across and he got me to the top for great views again, crater and the city. Had a lunch up to overlooking the city, great tour and great value!
