This man is so kind, genuine, and hardworking. I read the nasty review and instantly knew which party was the real problem - it’s certainly not this man. I appreciate business owners that show up, work hard, are humble, professional, honest, and exceptional at what they do. We’ve found our new grooming home! Berkeley is Maltese and weighs under 10 lbs. He’s a very gentle and loving little baybuh so I don’t trust his grooming to anyone. The amount we were “charged” was ridiculously low, so we more than doubled it. I say this for those that are seeking high quality grooming and want to steer clear of groomers who either can’t or won’t run their business like this man does. Thank you so much for being you! Greatly appreciated!

Mike did a great job de-shedding our Akita. I really appreciate that he doesn't employ the "drop all pets off in the morning" structure other places do. It helps a bunch with our pets anxiety. Pricing was more than fair and our pups look great. Edit: In November we had a rescue who needed an emergency grooming, Mike got us in and did an absolutely amazing job.

More than pleased to find him as my poms new dog groomer. Did a great job and was very helpful. Also love the fact that he does one dog at a time he doesn't leave your pet in a cage waiting their turn.

Mike is very patient, kind, and gentle with our Bernedoodle. He’s great about scheduling too, as he’s usually just finishing up the prior appointment when I arrive so my dog doesn’t have to do much waiting around!

He butchered and cut into my beautiful labradoddle. I have always cut my pet, and due to hand and arm surgery, I wasn't able to cut her. Called around with no luck, but when i called Mike, he mentioned he had a cancelation, desperate i took it. When i picked her up, he didn't even let me know he had cut into her, not to mention the absolute horror of a botched job. I can't believe his business is still open. I now know I am a professional groomer if that's what he calls himself because my work without any training and my companion has always looked beautiful and well groomed. She's absolutely botched! It gave 1 star, but he deserves a big FAT 0 Edit: Sly Move Mike. I like how you posted you're false claims by trying to cover up what you did and putting the blame on something that wasn't there! But the picures show the truth! In response to mike making untrue statements. Stating that he cut her by shaving due to her matt(s). First of all I called and talked to mike and told him my situation and that she had a few small matts but they were only located on her behind. I also asked Mike not to cut her face.Which if you zoom in you can clearly see he gouged her all up not to mention the uneven horrible Butcher Job. Mike stated he had to shave due to matt(s), but he didn't shave her, the only thing he shaved was her belly and the few mentioned on her behind but it wasn't much and he didn't shave her so again he's trying to cover up what he did! I tried to up load a new current photo of how she looks now.Clearly she's not shaved but it wouldn't allow me. But if you look in the photo that's posted look at the pictures of her legs and that's after I recut her! There's no shave! Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the rest of her body because I came home thinking I would just try and retrim her with my arm & hand that I just had surgery on. That's why I took her there to begin with as I normally cut her myself. It was after I had her mostly trimmed that I noticed he had cut her. My pet is traumatized and in pain. Not only do I feel guilt. I'm in extreme pain trying to fix what he messed up. It's sad. It's really sad that he can't admit what he did. He wants to blame it on matts that she did not have! The worst cut was underneath her arm in a very tender spot. A good groomer would know to take care when cutting underneath a very sensitive spot, the underarm needs delicate care when cutting or trimming. Hmm Well now finally, My post was posted the night he botched her, May14th. He finally just posted a pulic response just 5 days ago. Beware!

I am glad this owner posted these pics and want to use this post to educate people on mats. The owner brought in a matted mini-doodle to be groomed and I explained that I would have to cut through the matting.

Mats can be difficult to remove, and may require the pet to be shaved. Removing a heavily matted coat can cause nicks, cuts, or abrasions. Heavy matting can also trap moisture and urine near the pet’s skin, allowing mold, fungus or bacteria to grow, and or revealing skin irritations that existed prior to the grooming process. After-effects of the mat removal can include itchiness, redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions, and failure of hair to regrow. In some cases, pets may also exhibit brief behavioral changes.

If there are matting sores, abrasions, or bleeding after removing matts the dog should be seen by a vet to have the area checked out.

I really want (and hope) for people to understand what can happen with matts on dogs.

I refunded the grooming fee to the owner and asked the owner to have the area checked by a vet and to provide me with the vet bill. The owner never provided me with a vet bill.

Thanks, have a great day!

Took our poodle a few times. Could not do a poodle cut due to lack of tools. Had an appointment and Mike said he couldn’t do a simple poodle cut so appointment was declined. Frustrating! Why didn’t he tell me that at the first appointment!

Hi Deb,

I asked you to check other places to see if you could locate someone with a guard longer than what I had (E Guard). If not, I could cut the hair using an E guard (and that it would be shorter than what you wanted for the hair length). That way you could get the length you wanted on your dog.

I wanted you to get the longer hair length with someone else since I did not have a guard long enough for what you wanted.

I was just trying to help you get the longer length. I thought you would be happier with that.

Anyway, thanks have a great day!

Our doodle looks so great after getting him back from the groomers. Reasonable on price and does well with our Cooper. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great groomer for your dog.

I took my dog, a labradoodle, for a haircut and a bath. He did a nice job of what I asked for and most importantly, he was soooooo kind!I asked a lot of questions regarding grooming and trimming my dogs nails and he answered them without any hesitation and was willing to help. I 10000% recommend!!
