I've been using Faber & Son to tune and care for my Kawaii baby grand piano for years. That piano is very special to me. My kids joke that it's my "fifth child". I wouldn't trust it to any one else. I have been playing the piano since 1972. Some piano tuners do well in that the piano is "in tune," but other piano tuners pull a full rich deep sound out of the exact same strings. James Klomp is the latter. It has been many decades since we have had a tuner of his caliber.. Luckily i am now older than my piano tuner, therefore we do not ever need to look any further. He has my highest recommendation.
I've used Faber and Son for several years and will continue to do so (my most recent tuning was in July 2024). James is a professional. He is always on time, communicates efficiently, and my piano always sounds great when he's finished. Quality service from a kind professional, and I would highly recommend.

James is a true professional and there is no one better in the business. When i mentioned I was looking for a used piano he went out of his way to find the perfect one that fit my needs and my budget. I needed a piano teacher and he hooked us up with an amazing teacher. I had James come out to tune my piano, which is quite an old piano. He came promptly on time and was super nice. He took his time going through every key, listening intently. I thought he was done because it sounded great to me but he was meticulous and went through them again and did a few more tweaks. It sounded perfect when he was done. He even played a little bit. The price was super affordable and didn’t expect the service I received for that price. I HIGHLY recommend Faber and Son. Thank you, James…you were awesome!
