I've waited until close to the end of the first year to write this review to ensure I could give an honest review of our experience. If you are looking into this program for your kids, I'm so happy to tell you that you don't need to look anywhere else. This is the right program for you. From registration to live classes we've felt like family, not just another number in a program. My child had a very major surgery during the school year and the program director and his professor took time out of their day to send videos of themselves wishing him well and encouraging him. That's not something typical programs do and I am so grateful they cared enough to uplift my child in his time of need. I will never stop recommending this program. They will take great care of your kid and really invest in them and their future in spanish speaking. The quality of their program is top notch. My children have learned an incredible amount in just year one. We are looking forward to next year.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Expedition Spanish! Nate is truly a caring person who is in this to create something good for the kids, and I appreciate it! These classes are fun, educational, and lead to Spanish immersion. I tried seveal Spanish programs before we found this one, and this one, by far, is our favorite!
Expedition Spanish is awesome!! My 12 year old daughter has been taking classes with Señor Wolf since she was 6 years old. She absolutely loves the classes and Senor Wolf. He is excellent at keeping the children engaged in the lesson and the lessons are very interactive. We are so grateful as homeschool parents to have found Expedition Spanish!!!! She also participates in some of the summer workshops and loves them. A perfect addition to her summer enrichment and lots of fun while learning!!!
We came across Expedition Spanish several months ago and signed up for the self- paced classes to include in our homeschool curriculum. My kids absolutely loved learning from Senor Wolf, and they learned so much very quickly with his songs and the many different teaching techniques he used to help them retain all the new information. We recently switched over to online classes with Profe Tania, and each time the class ends the kids wonder how quickly the time went because they have so much fun. The online class is wonderful, because the kids are interacting with other kids and with Profe Tania and it is mostly all in Espanol! They have learned so much in such a short amount of time! I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to learn Spanish, learn it quickly, and learn it in a fun and exciting way from people who are passionate about the language and sharing it with others. Señorita Flor is an exceptional teacher who brings warmth, patience, and positivity into every lesson. She is consistently pleasant, kind, and encouraging, creating a learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and confident. My son has always looked forward to her classes and has learned an incredible amount over the past few years, both academically and personally.
She has a remarkable ability to recognize each child’s strengths and gently guide them to grow, helping her students truly flourish. Her dedication, compassion, and genuine care for her students make a lasting impact well beyond the classroom. Señorita Flor is an exceptional Spanish teacher, and our experience with her has been nothing short of amazing. This is my son’s second year with her, and at just eight years old (third grade), he absolutely loves Spanish. He looks forward to every class and proudly uses his Spanish skills around the house. It’s incredible to see how confident and excited he is about learning another language.
One thing I truly appreciate is that my son is able to participate independently, but I still feel very involved as a parent. Every session is recorded, which means I can go back and watch the lessons through Google Drive to see how engaged he is and how much he’s participating. That feature is also a huge help if he ever misses a class—he can watch the recording on his own and stay caught up without falling behind.
I also love the structure of the program. Classes meet twice a week, but learning doesn’t stop there. The additional online practice and the workbook they use ensure consistent reinforcement, so Spanish stays fresh and engaging between sessions. That balance has made a huge difference in how much he’s retaining.
He’s learning concepts and vocabulary that I didn’t encounter until high school, and he’s doing it with joy and confidence. Señorita Flor’s passion, organization, and dedication truly set her apart. We are so grateful for her and highly recommend her to any family looking for a meaningful, well-rounded language-learning experience.
We joined Expedition Spanish last semester and it has been fabulous. It is so nice to be able to have a remote live class. It's wonderful for him to hear Spanish spoken by a native speaker and pick up that accent. His teacher is so fun and kind and patient. We are so glad we found this class.
This is our children's third year of learning with Expedition Spanish and it is still one of their favourite classes. My eldest has returned to a brick and mortar school after 5 years of homeschooling and he is the most advanced Spanish learner in his 8th grade class, thanks to Senor Wolf. Both children love the language and our Mexican friends say they have the best accents. I cannot recommend Expedition Spanish highly enough.
I love Expedition Spanish! Señor Wolf's classes are very enjoyable, and I have learned so much Spanish with ease. I have been doing this course for the last 4 years, and I can speak, read, and understand a great deal in Spanish! My mom's fluent Spanish-speaking friend is very impressed with my Spanish skills!
Señor Wolf's classes are only 30 minutes long, and the extra assignments are very effective in helping me learn Spanish. All the teachers are fun and a pleasure to learn Spanish with. I hope that I get to become fluent with Señor Wolf! 🇪🇸👍🇪🇸
My child has been enrolled at Expedition Spanish for over two years and we love the program for her! My child had taken Spanish classes before, but Expedition Spanish is by far the best. The instructors make it so fun while at the same time really teaching the kids in a methodical way that works towards fluency in Spanish. Also, the environment is incredibly supportive and the students even learn geography and culture! I cannot recommend Expedition Spanish enough!
