So many disappointing experiences here. The only saving grace is Imam Akram and a couple of the board members I know personally. I appreciate the partnership on a couple occasions with bringing Shaykha Tamara here and the help I have gotten from Imam Akram with some predatory Dawah bros in our community including an “imam” at Masjid Wadud who harasses women in our community with unwanted texts and calls not to mention his DV history. It’s refreshing to hear an imam acknowledge that another imam is a major problem. Alhemdulillah for Imam Akram’s leadership. I pray 🤲🏼 that this mosque can be more clean and organized and create a more welcoming atmosphere.
