Charis was the celebrant at my mums funeral last week and she was amazing. I feel so lucky that she was recommended to us. She is professional, articulate, thoughtful, has a great easy style about her and is focused on providing a great service for her clients. Also in meeting with us, she quickly grasped the vibe and tailors to suit her audience. Charis is the right balance of empathy, charisma and reading the room well. She made mums send -off better than i could ever have anticipated. Highly recommend her. Oh, and she has a great sense of humour too. :)

Charis was the celebrant for our wedding in Daylesford in March. I don’t think you’ll come across many other celebrants who put as much thought and care into their work as Charis does. My husband’s uncle took me aside after the ceremony to tell me that he’s been to a lot of weddings and he’s never seen a celebrant who understood the couple they were marrying like Charis did. She was a very calm presence during the ceremony and went out of her way to calm the nerves of our little 3 year old ring bearer beforehand. ‘Thank goodness we ended up with you’ were my words to Charis.
My father and I were a bit lost when his wife passed away. We wanted to fulfil her wishes and place her ashes on our property with her favorite horse. Charis made this possible. She guided us along the way.
She was compassionate and cheerful at the same time. We felt safe and at easy with her from the first minute. The eulogy Charis wrote was perfect and her delivery was calming and bright with pauses to reflect on the person.
Charis really took the time to get to know us and understand what we were after.
The day after the service my father asked ‘Have you thanked Charis yet? Please pass on that I just loved her!’
