We had an absolutely amazing experience with Eleni on our food tour in Athens! From the very start, she was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about Greek cuisine and culture. We loved tasting authentic Greek sweets and traditional coffee in charming local spots that we would have never found on our own. The highlight of the evening was the incredible seafood dinner at a truly local, non-touristy restaurant — fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable!

Eleni and her team were the best since the first moment we contact them. She suggested us the best recommendations for a food tour. This has to be the best food tour in Athens. She was suggested by another guide, and went above and beyond my expectations. After a few messages with her, I booked 2 tours. They were bothering exceptional. She tailors your tour to the food you want to try. We had Greek coffee, spinach/chicken pies, olive oils, honeys, Greek mezze, and my favorite had to be the loukomadres! Get the chocolate ones!! She took us exploring the city to her favorite spots, gave us so many tips, from safety to choosing your facial products from the Korres store. The wine tasting was also fun. Apostolos accompanied us to a lovely spot. The wines (5) were from many areas of the country, served with a lovely charcuterie board.And after, we went for souvlaki, and had Galactoboreko. I consider Eleni now a trusted friend for any guidance choosing foods or restaurants in Athens or many of the islands! Book your spot now!

Without a doubt, this was a great decision that was made for my girlfriend and I to do while in Athens.
Eleni, from first contact, was engaging, helpful, friendly and very informative guide. This experience was not just a food tour by foot. It was a walk through history in the streets of Athens and visiting some beautiful places. She was very passionate and knowledgeable about the history of the Greek culture and shared with us her personal experiences. She took her time, answered all our questions and was honest. What’s remarkable is her ability to weave the history, culture and food all while walking around eating food or going to get food.
Eleni has been a joy ever since we met her and I do believe I can call her a friend. She is a hidden gem for good eats, guide in the city and a wealth of cultural knowledge.
The next day, we met up again to make Pastitsio and cheese pie with her. This experience was heartwarming and filled with love. There was prepping, cooking, questions, laughter and so much fun! It was worth every moment. The memories we’ve made from this experience will be remembered fondly.
If you get a chance, book! Enjoy her beautiful laugh and her love for her country. It was a highlight of our trip to Athens!

My friend and I booked an Athens Food Steps private tour for a morning food steps tour in September 2025. We thought we’d walk a little, stipe for some bubbles and go our separate ways, but we got so much more!!! Our tour was with Eleni. She gave us history, stories, a tour of many Athens neighbourhoods and food that was away from the typical tourist stops. It exceeded expectations and left us with a new friend. Thank you Eleni!
