Our experience with QSA over the last couple of years has been extremely worthwhile and advantageous for our son. Ascha has had some fantastic games playing with QSA in th Academy League competitions over the last couple of years. Even winning MVP players for U8 Development League with QSA. My son loves Queensland soccer academy. Coaching is one of the highest level you can get in Queensland and you won’t get this experience at a normal football club. Stephen and all his coaches are so supportive to all their students and really show the kids how they can develop and grow. Can not recommend them enough.
My 10-year-old son has been training/playing with QSA, and we are extremely impressed. The balance of expert coaching and player focused development is outstanding. The coaches are highly knowledgeable and provide sessions tailored to each child’s skill level, helping him improve both technically and tactically. What sets QSA apart is that they don’t just teach skills they coach the implementation of those skills in real game scenarios, stretching the boys to challenge themselves and fostering true growth. They combine fun, engagement, and structured learning he genuinely looks forward to every session. We’ve seen great progress in his confidence, game understanding, and overall enjoyment of the sport. I'm so thrilled with Queensland Soccer Academy! My son has been training with them for over a year, and his growth in skills, ability, and confidence has been incredible. The coaching staff are fantastic, super knowledgeable, and excellent at connecting with the kids. My son has been doing programmes with Stephen now since June. He has loved doing the development programme every week and has done the holiday programmes over the school holidays and most recently his academy league. Stephen is an amazing coach who is calm and patient and all the kids love him. Alan is another coach at a lot of the programmes and he is also amazing. My son has developed his soccer so much in this time it’s so good to see. I couldn’t recommend his programmes highly enough!
Have had experience with both holiday camps and the development program. Absolutely outstanding. Very supportive, great understanding of coaching and how to teach younger players.
Both my son and daughter did the school holiday program and loved it. Both were engaged in the activities and games the whole time and keen to go back each day, as were all their friends, even signing up for additional days. Both learnt about the game and improved on their skills, both playing with more confidence now. Stephen is a wonderful coach, very patient and supportive. We will continue on with weekly sessions and highly recommend to all kids at any level.
My sons had a great time at Queensland soccer academy in the winter holidays - my 8 year old is recently soccer mad (playing at school) but hasn’t as yet played with a local club so we were after some skills building - Stephen and his team offered exactly what we were after - my sons bonded very well with Stephen and the coaches too. As a parent I have found Qld soccer academy to be well organised and well run but more importantly for my sons they find the programs to be engaging, fun and tailored well to their individual needs. Stephen and his team are professional and have the ability to not only cater for a diverse range of skill sets whilst still targeting individual area of focus.
