Visited Global Village recently and honestly there are so many new places, attractions, and activities compared to before. The atmosphere was really fun and there’s a lot to explore, especially if you enjoy walking around, trying different experiences, and enjoying the entertainment.
The day rides pass was only 99 AED and it was definitely worth the money. There were many rides included, so if you enjoy rides and games, it’s a really good deal. I would highly recommend going on a weekday instead of the weekend because even on weekdays the place becomes very crowded later at night.
Best advice is to go early, right when it opens. Yes, the weather can still feel a bit hot during the evening at first, but the biggest advantage is the shorter queue times for rides, food, and attractions. As the night goes on, more and more people arrive and it becomes much more crowded and harder to move around comfortably.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and there’s something for everyone — rides, shopping, food, shows, and different cultural areas to explore. Definitely worth visiting at least once during the season.
