Squeak Be Gone, Alex, makes impossible and difficult floor and stair repairs into miracle. The work that was performed today on the junction of my stairs and floor was never resolved by my house builder despite my several attempts to have the builder and subcontractors to resolve this matter. Alex showed up today with all the knowledge, tools and the desire to meet the challenges of finding the issues and resolve it. Very meticulous in a rare specialized line of work, I certainly recommend him without a doubt. Thank you Alex.

I highly recommend “ Squeak Be Gone” for anyone dealing with annoying, squeaky hardwood floors. I had several squeaks in my kitchen, bedroom and hallway that were loud enough to wake the whole house. Alex was incredibly professional and well organized, he identified exactly where the issues were in the flooring and fixed it all in one visit. Most importantly, you can't even tell where the repairs were made and looks untouched. If you have a squeak that won't go away, he's the person to call. Alex is more than 5 stars!

Very happy, I had 3 steps on my main stair that were squeeking a lot and everything was fixed. Very professional and non invasive technique used. I recommend to everyone needing stairs or floor repair in the region of Montreal ! Also after a few month, once stair started to make noise again and Alex came back for warranty and did an excellent job in fixing it free of charge.

Alex did a fantastic job with our floors. 5 stars!!!! We had a couple of spots in a newly renovated kitchen that had squeaky subfloors. He explained everything over the phone before coming to the house and was a complete professional from start to finish. He even stayed until the glue settled to ensure there were no issues. If you have squeaky floors or subfloors do not hesitate to call him. He does amazing work.

Thanks to Alex, our stairs and bedroom floors are quiet! I can easily recommend Squeak Be Gone services. Alex provided good communication, and planned our appointment date in Ottawa well in advance. Once started, Alex worked diligently to resolve some particularly challenging structural issues in our floors. We are quite happy with the immediate results, and we’re looking forward to years of squeak-free stairs and floors. Update (April 2026): Alex returned to further inspect and repair a more persistent floor squeak after the initial repair last year. We are happy with the professionalism from Alex, and are confident with the latest work that he completed. The other areas that Alex fixed previously are still nice and quiet today!

Excellent work! I had two rooms where under the carpet it squeaked so loud it sounded like an old farmhouse floor!
