Die Aussicht ist einfach brillant und die Bungalows lassen nichts zu wünschen übrig. Es leben Affen und zahlreiche Vögel in der Umgebung und man kann stundenlang einfach nur die Vielfalt genießen. Die Besitzer sind sehr sehr freundlich, können aber nicht so gut Englisch sprechen. Sie geben sich aber bei allem Mühe und es ist mit sehr viel Liebe gestaltet. Ein wunderschöner Ort, mit allem was das Reisendenherz begehrt. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn es geht!

☺ Beautiful spot with an exceptional view. The house is well furnished. We were warmly welcomed by the family and they explained us the different spots around the town. The house is in nature and not too far from everything. Owner was really responsive when we had questions. The road to get there is a bit bumpy, so ideally have a 4x4 to get there.
☹ Only thing we would have appreciated would have been to have chairs to relax outside. There is a concrete table with benches outside, but nothing to relax and appreciate the view. But other than that, everything was good!
Mooie locatie met uitzocht (op de zee). De eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk. Ze spreekt alleen geen Engels. Je kunt wel iemand berichten voor Engels contact. In de tuin zagen we verschillende dieren, met name vogels. Dat was erg tof.
Vanuit de kamer heb je vanuit de vele ramen mooi uitzicht, je kunt helaas niet alle ruimen verduisteren waardoor het al vroeg ligt in de kamer is. Het bed is een beetje klein. Er is een kleine keuken aanwezig waar je prima een maaltijd kunt maken.
De wegen die je naar de accommodatie brengen zijn zeer matig. Zeer aan te raden om deze locatie te benaderen met een 4x4 voertuig.

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, away from the busy town, this is the perfect place. The views are amazing, the atmosphere is calm and quiet, and you can really feel the essence of Costa Rica’s natural beauty here.
Out of all the places we’ve stayed in Costa Rica so far, this has been the best one — by far. Highly, highly recommended!

☺ Cozy house in a quiet and very picturesque location. The house is well equipped and was very comfortable for a family of 4 ( one shared bedroom). The hosts were really nice. Xinia gave us lemons and bananas from her garden, and her son Emanuel was very helpful in providing information on activities in the area.

☺ Campo Azul ist ein wahrer Traum gewesen. Die Bilder zum Anwesen werden dem Livebild nicht gerecht!
Das Haus wird von einem großem Garten umgeben, in dem wir Nasenbären, Papageien, Kolibri und andere zahlreiche Tiere gesehen haben. Für die Kinder war es "Eins der besten Unterkünfte in Costa Rica" - Fußball spielen, Aussicht bis zum Golfo Colorado, sensationelle Sonnenuntergänge,... Für eins ein wirklich tolles Apartement.
Xinia und Gilbert, die Besitzer, sind unfassbar nett und begrüßten uns mit Bananen und Paprika aus dem eigenen Garten.
Emanuel, der Sohn, der die Kommunikation davor übernimmt, hat uns zwei tolle Touren (Kaffee- & Kakaotour bei Don Juan sowie eine Nachtwanderung bei El Refugio) gebucht, die sehr zu empfehlen sind.
Alles in allem waren wir sehr glücklich zu viert drei Tage hier verbringen zu können und können Campo Azul nur absolut weiterempfehlen.
Campo Azul is incredible! When our original reservation at a different hotel didn’t work out, we were lucky to come across Campo Azul. At 9:30 pm, the host responded to our message right away and quickly prepared the cabin for our stay. The cabin was both cozy and spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with a full kitchen.
The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and an abundance of wildlife — we spotted monkeys, hummingbirds, and even a toucan! The host went above and beyond to check on us and make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.
If you’re visiting the area, this place is a gem. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Fantastische locatie met super ontvangst!
☺ De ontvangst van Xinia was geweldig. We kregen onmiddellijk een volledige rondleiding in het huisje. We zaten mooi in de natuur met een heel mooi uitzicht tot in de baai van Nicoya :-D. De locatie is rustig gelegen en ideaal om van daaruit de regio Monteverde te verkennen. Ook wanneer je activiteiten wilt doen kan je onmiddellijk bij de eigenaars terecht met vragen en kunnen zij zelfs de boekingen voor jou doen, een aanrader dus.
