All activities included in the event were fantastic, snorkeling, tequila tasting and tacos. Including the new driver guy (Jorge Tamayo) picking us up and taking us back to our hotel.

This was absolutely amazing my oldest enjoyed himself. And so did my family. The staff was amazing I sat with my baby boy while they did zipline and they checked on us multiple times. Im a travel agent and will be recommending to my clients.

I visited this place while in Cancun and it was a huge disappointment. Buying tickets online did not save time, and the transportation took hours because of multiple hotel stops. Once there, staff immediately pressured us into an overpriced VIP upgrade with misleading promises about food, drinks, and exclusive perks. Phones, sunscreen, and personal items were forbidden, seemingly just to force tourists into buying overpriced photos ($40 per person), plus an unexpected $15 fee charged upon arrival. In reality, the experience was rushed, the food portions were tiny, drinks were weak, and the entire visit felt designed to squeeze more money out of guests through tips, photos, and constant upselling. The cenote time was extremely limited, the ATVs were in terrible condition, and the so-called safari was a complete waste. To make matters worse, after visiting. Overall, this felt more like a tourist trap and scam than an enjoyable adventure.

I booked with Extreme Adventuring Cancun because the cenotes looked amazing online, and honestly, the cenotes themselves were beautiful… but the overall experience was kind of a letdown. First of all, the vehicles were super old and not exactly comfortable, and the ride to the cenotes was rough and way less enjoyable than I expected. It definitely didn’t feel as fun or safe as it was advertised. What really made things worse was the whole camera situation. There seemed to be a lot of unnecessary tension about it, and when questions came up, the staff got weirdly upset instead of being helpful. One employee in particular, Jesus Zuniga, was especially aggressive and started shouting about the issue, which felt really unprofessional and honestly made the whole vibe uncomfortable. Like… we’re literally on vacation, why is anyone yelling? Overall, it wasn’t the worst experience ever, but it definitely wasn’t great either. Cancun has so many amazing cenotes and there are way better tour companies out there that are more organized, professional, and actually know how to treat guests. If you really want to enjoy your cenote experience, I’d probably recommend looking at other options first.

Edit to respond to the company: the fact that most of the staff try to make up what for such poor quality experience they are selling, as in they are putting in extra effort to help you enjoy the experience in exchange for a living while you cut corners and furlough maintenance to make more money—- However the cost saving measures (including safety training) are causing harm and eventually someone will get far more injured than me. The minimum age is 5 years old! If it hurt me this hard, I can’t image the impact on a 5 year old. “5-year-old children are generally at higher risk for more severe injuries than an adult if a, “slam” incident occurs while ziplining. While adults have more mass, children under 10 account for nearly half (45%) of all zip-line injuries, often suffering broken bones or head injuries. Their bodies are still growing, making their bones more susceptible to severe injury.” I would never bring my children here! The place is in need of so many upgrades and a lot more STAFF TRAINING. Original review: Our tour guide, Alan, was attentive and remained with the group throughout the experience. He did his best to support participants during the activities. That said, there were significant safety concerns. During the zipline portion, I was not properly braked at the end of the line and slammed into the wall/platform. This resulted in immediate back pain and large scratch across my back. While the pain subsided after approximately 15 minutes, the incident could have resulted in a more serious injury. Proper braking and monitoring procedures should be strictly enforced to prevent this from happening to others. The ATV portion also raised safety issues. The heat emitted from the engine area is intense and can burn exposed skin. Participants should be clearly instructed in advance to wear full-length pants. Additionally, the exhaust fumes were excessive. By the end of the ride, I felt dizzy and nauseated from the concentration of monoxide exposure. This is concerning from a health and ventilation standpoint, particularly when riding in close proximity to other ATVs. The terrain is extremely rough, which is expected, though riders should be prepared for a very aggressive and physically demanding ride. The cenote was the highlight of the day and was well worth the visit. I recommend bringing bug spray, though mosquito levels were manageable during our visit. The package included two tacos (pork or fish only). Drinks are expensive, with soda priced the same as beer ($4). The food did not reflect the pricing. Overall, while there were a few positive aspects, the safety lapses—particularly during the zipline and ATV activities—were significant. Based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this tour to others.

Very bad experience being held hostage and not being able to get out. Not a good experience. Very sad. You will waste your day Reply to Owner answer: We fully understand that this is a shared group environment and that delays can occasionally happen. However, when customers purchase an organized experience through a professional operator, there is a clear expectation that the process will be actively managed. In this case, we were instructed on a specific time to return for transport, yet were then required to wait approximately 40 minutes in a van while other participants continued drinking beyond the agreed time. That is not a minor delay—it reflects a lack of control and respect for the rest of the group. More concerning was the response from your on-site manager. Rather than acknowledging the issue or taking steps to resolve it, he was dismissive and condescending toward us, while being noticeably accommodating to those causing the delay. This created the impression that punctuality and fairness only applied selectively. This is not about impatience—it is about basic customer experience standards: clear expectations, consistent enforcement, and respectful communication. Unfortunately, those were not met.
