The Eiffel Tower is definitely something you have to see at least once during the day and during the night when its all lit up. My last visit however was disappointing. The extremely long lines, raining constantly for over two weeks, the extremely very aggressive vendors, the purse snatching, and the lack of public toilette's in the vicinity.Speaking of aggressive vendors beware of all the African vendors around the area because if you touch or even ask for a price you are committing your self to getting whatever the trinket you looked at and if you don't they will harass ,threaten and even run after you and the authorities know this and are nowhere around. There is a lot of different types of scamming going around the tower to watch out for! However the worst thing is the is the ugliest glass, plywood panels and large metal stud fencing completely encircling entire structure, aesthetically this is a complete eyesore at the base of the tower! Lastly, for such a highly visited site why is there so much trash all around it and no one cleaning it up or even enough receptacles for the garbage being dumped all over?
An iconic experience that truly lives up to the hype
Visiting the Eiffel Tower was an unforgettable highlight of my trip to Paris. Seeing it in person for the first time is breathtaking — no photo can fully capture its elegance, scale, and beauty. Whether viewed from a distance or up close, it feels magical.
Going up the tower offers stunning panoramic views of the entire city. Paris looks absolutely incredible from above, especially at sunset when the city slowly lights up. The experience feels smooth and well organized, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout the visit.
What makes the Eiffel Tower even more special is the atmosphere around it. The surrounding gardens, the Seine nearby, and the lively energy of visitors from all over the world create a memorable and joyful experience. When the tower sparkles at night, it feels truly magical and romantic.
The Eiffel Tower is more than just a landmark — it’s a symbol of Paris and a must-see experience. Whether it’s your first visit or a return trip, it’s an inspiring moment that stays with you long after you leave. Highly recommended for everyone visiting Paris.
